Holiday Inn — Restaurant in Burlington

Last year the facility was under construction. This year, everything was shiny and new…..

Food is great, wait staff was on point~ I didn’t interact with any other staff, the atmosphere was generic of a hotel.

So many textures, patterns and paintings that it came across as TOO busy, using up left overs from other jobs. The lobby waiting room/small office space off reception with tables and chairs were AMAZING!

However. There was water DRIPPING out of the LIGHT FIXTURE in the bathroom across from the pool. Then another leak at a random spot outside another bathroom entrance across from the meeting rooms. The rooms themselves look fine, but the bathroom door is on a barn door style sliding rail so it doesn’t ACTUALLY fully close. The lock is tricky to figure out the glass shower is stunning with the water temp selector on the opposite side to where the shower head is~ smart! No getting a shock of cold water before hand. BUT. The glass sliding doors were installed incorrectly/backwards, so when the glass door is closed, there is a gap large enough to slip your hand through and water subsequently ends up on the tile floor. The toilet is standard, but the tank kept filling, as the float was being prevented from indicating when the tank was full. So that was interesting. So pleased with the service and food. In fact it was surprising! The primary reason for returning to stay here. We had both dinner and breakfast. Dinner was quiet and allowed us to talk and enjoy the excellent food. Prices were very reasonable. Breakfast want the normal free buffet but we were able to order anything from the menu. Wow. Flexibility. At both meals the servers were excellent with a good balance of friendliness And efficiency. Although there are other well known restaurants in the area i would prefer...
