Scaddabush is a restaurant I could recommend to vegetarians and non-vegetarians (not vegans as much however)!
I may be incorrect, but the food at Scaddabush is so authentic! I am very impressed with the fact that all the pasta/pizza doughs, sauces, etc. are made by hand in the restaurant which that is a sign of high quality, and though the all the food is very buttery/cheesy, homemade always makes it healthier. We ordered the 3-Cheese Truffle Charity Bread as a starter, which did not disappoint since it was very cheesy as described. We then ordered a Margherita Pizza in Kids Size which decreased the price, and the pizza had one of the best crusts we've ever tried, and the overall dish was fresh! We ordered the Pesto Pollo Penne with the chicken removed, and it was okay. Our favorite, however, was the scrumptious Zucca Ravioli with the unique flavors and textures which perfectly combined! It was absolutely delicious!
The service at Scaddabush is very good. We were instantly taken to our table, offered drinks, and introduced to our very kind waitress who attended to our every need. Our food arrived within 10-15 minutes of ordering, and tasted as if it was freshly made! The cost of everything is definitely above average, but it is reasonable since the food is all handmade and of such good quality. While the portions of all our food was decent, the Zucca Ravioli's portion size was fairly small, and we only received about 6-7 pieces of ravioli with a lot of sauce. The restaurant's interior as well as exterior is beautiful, with a rustic, elegant finish! It is also very clean and sanitary, including the bathrooms, utensils/dishes, seats and chairs. There is outdoor dining, indoor dining, a bar, and a place where you can see the food being prepared, and the whole restaurant is spacious and well laid out.
At the end of the day, I definitely look forward to revisiting this restaurant, and trying...
Read moreMy partner and I dropped off on a rare opportunity to have a Sunday date afternoon because we had been given a gift card and ScattBush was nearby and we've enjoyed experiences there before. We sat down ordered our beer and when it came to us by a familiar server who is lovely, she only then told us that their computers were down all weekend. And for that reason, they would not accept gift cards. We found it interesting and disappointing, that they chose after our alcohol was served to let us know that. I believe an establishment such as Scattabush because it is a chain restaurant, that there should have been a note put on The Doors. And/or at least the hostess should have let us know since gift cards I believe are a common form of payment under the circumstances. Because free time and time out on a weekend is rare for us, we stayed. But despite our disappointment, we don't believe our server went the extra mile to understand that even though it was a technical issue it made our experience a little less enjoyable- no effort was made to go the extra mile as we told her the only reason we came was necause we had a gift card. Or to re- accommodate us. That being said, the food was wonderful and most likely We will do take out in the future. Scattabush, please consider formality and professionalism when forms of payment aren't able to be accepted for any given reason. We know technology these days can have glitches but that doesn't mean the customer service...
Read moreTo the Team at Scaddabush Burlington,
As long-time and loyal patrons of your restaurant, we’ve consistently experienced a level of service that goes above and beyond — and today was no exception, though it stood out in the most remarkable way.
From the moment we arrived, the hostess greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, setting a beautiful tone for the evening. We were offered a wonderful table, and the experience only elevated from there.
Our server, Ava, was truly exceptional. We had a party of 5 celebrating an 85th birthday and Ava handled it with grace, charm, and professionalism that made everyone feel not only welcomed but celebrated. Her energy lit up the room, her laughter was contagious, and her recommendations were spot-on. She brought an ease and joy to the table that made the entire group feel at home.
We also want to commend the managers, who came by several times throughout the evening to check in on us — a small gesture that left a lasting impression. It felt as though we were dining in someone’s home in Italy, not just a restaurant.
The atmosphere and ambiance at Scaddabush Burlington is always lovely, but what truly elevates the experience is your team. The staff are the heart of this establishment, and they continuously uphold a standard of excellence that deserves recognition.
Bravo to Ava, the management, and the entire team for creating another...
