My partner and I arrived at 10 pm on a Saturday night. We waited 5 minutes to be greeted, in a seemingly empty restaurant, as we noticed a server and bartender chatting behind the bar. After they took notice, a rather displeased bartender came over to seat us. We waited several more minutes for our server (in a near empty restaurant), and when she took our drink orders the drinks were also very slow to arrive. Finally we ordered our food. The goat cheese platter came out with garlic bread that was black, burnt to a crisp. We brought it up to our server, whose excuse was she was just trying to run the food, and didn't even check it. As a restaurant manager myself, this is absolutely unacceptable, and easily the worst thing she could've said. She returned almost immediately with a remake, and at this time we noticed we didn't have any cutlery. My partner scooped some from a nearby table, in full-view of who we expect was the manager, who did nothing except what looked like reviews with staff. He passed by our table several times and didn't quality check us once. Our mains were delivered by a different server, and we did not see ours again until it was time to pay. Mains were fine, no issues there, however we were seated nearby the kitchen and their music was blaring, overtaking the music in the dining room, making for a disorienting experience. We asked the new server who was now apparently taking care of us for the bill, and we noticed our original server was again talking to the bartender behind the bar. It took several minutes for the bill, again in a near empty restaurant with AT LEAST 4 front of house staff working. The bill was brought to us, and yet again we sat and waited this time for the machine while our original server kept going to chat with the bartender. Will not be returning or...

Read moreWe ate here for the first time in September 2017. We were completely disappointed in our experience. When we arrived we were asked if we would like to sit in the dining room or the lounge. We said we were indifferent, so the hostess recommended sitting in the lounge and sat us across from the bar. She said it would be quieter. The tables were a bit awkward and we found the seating a bit uncomfortable. The bartender took quite a while before coming over to us even though there was nobody else in the lounge besides a group of 3 people sitting at the bar who we suspected were employees. When he finally came over to take our drink order he seemed like he couldn't be bothered with us and was very unfriendly. Eventually we were served by someone else who took our dinner order. We ordered an appetizer, a salad, and two mains. She also seemed unfriendly. Our appetizer and salad were brought out by a 3rd person and she was lovely. Our appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip. While flavourful, it was so unbelievably salty! It came with red and white tortilla chips (that were over-salted also). We didn't eat the red tortilla chips as we're not big fans of food colouring. I had a burger for my main and while it was okay, the bacon was underdone, fatty, and soggy. The caesar salad we ordered was not good. It was lacking flavour and wasn't dressed properly and was thrown on the plate in an unappetizing manner. Overall the food was mediocre, but it was the service, particularly the miserable bartender, that made us agree we will never...
