I visited this location on March 6, 2025, in the mid-afternoon. Upon arrival, I waited a short time before being seated by a friendly lady with blonde hair. I sat in the bar area at a table and ordered a 10oz steak, cooked medium-rare, along with a salad and water.
The bartender took my order. To my understanding, a female chef was working that day, but I do not recall her name. When my steak arrived, it was undercooked—rare with a cold center, only surface-cooked. Additionally, the plate had remnants of food from a prior customer stuck to the rim, or it was some kind of unpleasant-looking decoration. I’m fairly certain it was food.
I complained about the meal, but little was done beyond briefly addressing it with the chef. They put the steak back on the burner for less than three minutes. While it was now warmer and cooked to a better degree, it had a strong butane gas taste. Despite this, I accepted it. Otherwise, the bartender and busser provided fair service.
Approximately six hours after eating, I developed a fever, chills, and vomiting, requiring rehydration and rest. I also lost a day of work due to this.
Personal hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food preparation standards need serious improvement at this location for public health reasons—unless, of course, you’re trying to send customers to your funeral home next door.
I trust that management will address these concerns, but this experience has completely put me off. Even the sight of this restaurant will remind me of the awful, drawn-out experience of running...
Read moreArriving at 8 p.m., we were grateful that two thirds of the restaurant was empty as we did not have a reservation. A manager, doubling as a waitress, took our order, brought us our drinks, and was not seen again for forty minutes.
When the food finally arrived, four of the six dinner entrees had to be sent back as they were stone cold. How long does a baked potato have to sit out before it feels like it was just taken from the refrigerator? Their solution was a few minutes in a microwave. The potato and steak were now warm, but the rare steak came back as medium well. The only things that were mostly well prepared were the two fajita entrees which came on sizzling skillets. Of course, one came with four wraps, and the other with two.
Subsequent drink orders were wrong, or did not show up at all.
When it came time to use the restroom facilities I was wishing that I had remembered to bring a flashlight or headlamp. Of course there was no power in the bathrooms and the floor had about 5mm of "water" everywhere. Using my phone as the only light source I was able to conclude my business there. I was told that the ladies room was the same. When I complained to the manager / waitress, I was told that there were crews on the roof working on the problem. How can a restaurant even be open under such conditions? There must be a health code violation in there somewhere.
For our troubles, we were offered at 10% off coupon for our next visit. There is ZERO chance that that coupon will ever be used.
In summary, avoid...
