Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Burlington

January 26, 2024: Lunchtime. Turkey On Whole wheat Sandwich. Stale Bread so dry it was almost impossible to eat. Meat had absolutely no taste. Lettuce, well I won't go on. It was just disgusting. I threw away half of the sandwich and went to Tim Horton and ordered there. I observed a server behind the counter drinking water from a bottle while wearing the food handling cloves. This would have been no stars. Cost for this sandwich outrageous based on its poor quality. (To the manager) I'm not interested in your flappy excuses for poor quality so don't waste your time with a lame answer. Use the time to improve your business and educate your staff. You will never have my business again.

Today for lunch I had a six inch Louisiana chicken and a bowl of chicken soup . The Louisiana chicken tasted very bland , like there was no sauce on it and had been sitting in broth or something , the coworker was actually straining it from liquid which was weird - the chicken actually made my bread soggy which was strange - I’ve had this sub before and it’s never been “wet” like that and so bland , usually it tastes like it has been simmered in a sauce, but that was not the case with this sub. The soup was no better the broth was very salty and the noodles were soggy like it had been reheated . Very disappointing and totally not worth the money I spent. I should have complained then and there but was on my lunch and had limited time . I will not be returning or recommending this Mr.Sub location to others . I will never go back to this Mr Sub. Rude staff (Nikki) asked if they had pineapple, reply: does it look like we have pineapple. Bread was hard, flaky and stale. When I asked if she could put the mayo on the pickles so the olives dont roll off Nikki yelled at me and said I will put it on the end. Again I asked could she please put the mayo on for me so the toppings dont roll off. She grabbed the bottle slammed it down on the counter and put on the sub. While huffing and rolling her eyes at me. The service is horrible. Very rude. When I got home my sub had some sort of red sauce where they cut they bread in half.
