The Americanized-Mexican fast food craze of the past few years gave us many counter-serve burrito and taco joints, but Mucho Burrito is different. They go beyond the standard build-your-own burrito, and offer a wide range of taqueria salads, quesadillas, and bowls for the health-conscious. Unlike some others, Mucho Burrito isn't stingy with the meat, although all meats are precooked, to save time.
But what really sets them apart is the liquor license. No, they won't make you a Margarita or pair your taco with a tempranillo, but they do offer three bottled beers - the obligatory Corona, the nondescript Budweiser, and--surprise!--Negra Modelo, a delightful find for a counter-serve fast food joint. Interestingly, all beers, domestic or import, are priced at $6. Not sure who'll go for a Bud when you can get a Negra Modelo for the same price, but I guess to each his own.
The place itself is pleasantly, if simply, furnished, and naturally lit from the large northwest facing window. The Latin pop muzak could probably benefit from being turned down a notch or two. Prices are in line with other counter-serve Mex eateries: $13-$14 for a huge burrito or quesadilla, less for the smaller dishes. Service is efficient and friendly.

Read moreKind of gross to be honest. Ordered through ubereats and it came from this location. Got a shrimp burrito with the wild medley grains, fajita veg, black beans, and burrito sauce. The Burrito sauce was either totally soaked up by the grains or was not put on. The grossest part was, all the shrimp, ALL of them were packed at one end of the burrito. I literally ate through 3/4 of it until I hit a shrimp, thinking they messed up and made it just a veggie, which I was too hungry to care about. But then at the bottom end there was this solid brick of 6-7 shrimp all packed together, and they were cold. The Burrito overall was warm, but the shrimp were cold. Nowhere near the same temp as the rest of the roll. It was pretty gross. I took a chance over the Boyz. Won't be making that...
Read moreThis is the worst location for the chain. (Chain itself is great) Vibes are just bad. Staff is unfriendly and rude. Slow as well. Sometimes they just hang out at the back chatting ignoring you until deciding to come out. Disrespectful. On the most recent visit girl that worked there made it feel like she was doing a huge favor just by taking and serving the order or hating the world in general. Not sure. Bad vibes just add at this location, though probably from same staff members. Looking at reviews someone from the management seem to make an effort to read and follow up. But please. There is a reason you still get low stars. And yes, just 1 star is appropriate for a place that puts a shadow on otherwise good...
