I am not a person who only writes bad reviews for the sake of writing bad reviews. We arrived here on Friday evening at 9:15 pm, were a group of 12 people with 4 young kids. The place was not busy, and the server showed up after 10 minutes. We asked for water to start with, and it took another 5-7 mins. We then asked the server for few drinks (some people wanted wine) and some starters and pizza (for kids) with a request for the server to come back quickly to seek her inputs on wine. We waited for another 10 mins, I had to walk upto the manager to ask someone to help us with our. Surprise, our server was at our table within 5 seconds. We finally ordered some scotch (it was not on the menu), the server had a special menu on her pocket to give us the choices. One scotch was on the rocks, and another one neat, and wait is normal at this restaurant. Our drinks arrive at 10:05 pm. The starters were Calamari (really drab and industrial food lol, it rhymes with the name), and Bruchetta (soggy, really soggy as it broke from the middle, bread was thin slices, no wonder, no one paid attention to detail to create bruchetta). More, when our main course arrives, still waiting for it at 10:18 pm. 10:31 pm update: Still waiting for food. Kids had their pizza. We ordered few red wine sangrias, they had a dash of red wine, pic attached. 10:41 pm update: Finally, our food arrived. The table was not cleared up, had to request them to take the plates from the appetizers. 10:44 pm update: Woo-hoo, my food was cold. Hot food was served at priority ahortly with apologies (I appreciated the quick action). Food for everyone was OK. Ravioli and pizza with Arugula were really good. 11:21 pm update: I have to admit that they realized that they messed up with us. Without we even asking, they offered to give my dish free. At the time of giving the bill, they took off appetizers worth $90 off the bill. They apologized for everything. This was a nice gesture! I am a big sucker for good service, so I changed 2 stars to 3 stars for service. But it doesn't take away the experience for the majority of our experience at the restaurant. Food and drinks: It was just average, nothing was good other than Ravioli and Pizza.

Updated review: second visit I was a bit disappointed after such a great first 5 star review. Went to get the butternut gnocchi last night and it was not good at all, something was missing and it was undercooked. It was so much better the last time I ordered it. After we received the food no one came to our table to acknowledge us or ask how the food was until we were all done. My friend just finished it for me. If someone had come within the 1 hour after food was served. I would’ve said told them to take it back and it was not good. But no one came not even once. I don’t know if it was understaffed. Sucks cause everything else was good. Poor service that day cause it wasn’t even busy and the staff were all inside. Regretted sitting outside. Previous review: 5 star: Our group of 11 had an amazing time at the industrial pizzeria! Regiane, our waiter, took great care of our large group. The butternut gnocchi i ordered was an absolute delight! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was so good. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy my own dish, but I also had the pleasure of sampling other items from my friends' plates, and let me tell you, they were all exceptional. Every dish I tasted deserves a solid 5-star rating. This is now my go-to spot in Burlington due to their reasonable prices compared to other Italian restaurants and amazing food. Highly recommended for a delicious dining experience! The cocktails are also great.

Firstly the one star review is not based typically on the service (although it was only OK, considering how empty the place was in comparison to the size of this place. We were out on errands, my wife, my son and I, and were looking for somewhere to stop for a bite to eat. I saw on their website they had ‘WEEKEND HAPPY HOUR’ 3pm till 5pm, Which helped make our decision to head here to grab some refreshments here as it was around 3:30pm. When I asked our server to tell us more about the ‘WEEKEND HAPPY HOUR’ she looked confused and said she didn’t think that they offer that at a weekend! I showed her the website scrolling down to promotions and the weekend current promo offer and for this Burlington location, So she could clearly see for herself and what I was referring to. We placed a drinks order and she said she would check with someone (I was hoping a manager) about the happy hour. When she returned. She said “My manager said we don’t do that on weekends! So I’m sorry about that!” But there it was clear as day on the internet for this particular burlington location. Im certain it would’ve been better practice for the manager to come and address us themselves at the table regarding query. Or even come and say that they’d like to still offer that to us anyhow even if there was a conflict with the website and in house ideas? Anyway we stayed ordered and the food was tasty. But we most likely wouldn’t have gone there.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Industria Pizzeria + Bar in Burlington was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

My partner and I arrived around 10:45 p.m. and noted that the restaurant was nearly empty, with just two patrons at the bar and few guests sitting at tables. Before being seated, we asked the host what time the kitchen closed, as we didn’t want to inconvenience the staff by ordering too close to closing time. The host assured us the kitchen closed at 11:45 p.m. and that we had plenty of time to order.

We were seated shortly after and greeted by our server, Montana. We placed our drink orders and took a few minutes to look over the menu. When she returned, we ordered drinks, an appetizer, two pizzas, and requested garlic dips on the side.

Despite the restaurant being quiet, the service was incredibly slow. By 11:00 p.m., our drinks still hadn’t arrived, and our server appeared more interested in chatting with the guests at the bar than checking in with us. My partner eventually received his drink, but the server had forgotten mine entirely. I reminded her, and it took several more minutes before I was finally served.

We received our appetizer around 11:15 p.m., and after finishing it, we expected our pizzas to follow shortly. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Our drinks were empty, and we sat waiting with no updates from our server, except for one stop to ask if we wanted more drinks. She assured us the food was coming soon.

Finally, at 11:40 p.m.—almost an hour after ordering—our pizzas arrived. When asked if we needed anything else, we reminded her about the garlic dips we had originally ordered. She returned to the bar, resumed chatting, and only after several more minutes seemed to remember our request, saying aloud, “Oh, their dips!” before finally bringing them over.

By then, the restaurant was nearing closing time, and the long wait had completely killed our appetite. We tried to flag down our server to get the bill, but she continued socializing at the bar. We eventually had to ask another staff member to get her for us.

To top it all off, when we received our bill, we were charged for an extra pizza we didn’t order. When we pointed out the mistake, there was no apology—just a revised bill.

While the food itself was good, the service was inexcusable. Waiting nearly an hour for food in an empty restaurant and being largely ignored by our server was frustrating and disappointing. Sadly, the poor service overshadowed the meal, and we won’t be returning to...

I am not quick to write a review but felt this needed to be shared. After a beautiful outing with family on Sunday, July 9, 2023, we stopped at this place for a bite. Five of us in the party. Ordered drinks & food. Server came back with drinks. My daughter ordered 6 oz glass of wine but was given 9 oz and indicated she had ordered 6 oz. This was received with a eye roll from the server. Then no sign of server for an hour. Went to front reception area asking about our food and why we hadn't seen our server all this time. Not once in that time did our server check in on us to see if we needed drinks replenished. When she finally made an appearance, she told us that there was a party of 100 which caused the delay. If we would have known there would be a long wait, we would have ordered an appetizer or went elsewhere but we were not given that option. Then due to the poor service we were told by the manager that we would receive a 10% discount. Well one person in our party the 10% discount showed on her bill but not on the remaining 4 so we asked why the remaining 4 did not receive the discount. And very defensively said she it was incorporated into the bill and would get the manager to prove it. We should have clued in then that she was not telling the truth but we were so angry by this time we let it go. Thinking back, we should have called on the manager. We paid and left then checked the online menu to compare and we definitely did not receive the discount. So we were lied to. Not impressed. Server had attitude. Service was horrible. And we were not compensated like we were told we would be. I also reached out to the restaurant and head office but have not received a response or apology. So they obviously do not care what their customer have to...
