Awkward and uncomfortable interaction with the attending worker. My husband and I ordered a double scoop that we intended to share. First she got the order wrong, and when we pointed it out, she scooped it out of our cup into the wrong bucket. Like what?? At checkout, we asked for a second spoon, which has a 0.50cent upcharge. WILD. I have my doubts all the 5 star reviews are honest especially since Kawartha Diary gives you twice this amount for less than the $7.50 we paid.

YUMMY!! 😋 First time here (when it was 10°C out lol), but won't be my last that's for sure. They use Kawartha Dairy ice cream and have so many of the best flavours you can't get anywhere else. They even stock some of the 2L tubs that you can't buy at your local grocery store. If your kryptonite is ice cream, you'll definitely want to make your way over to Tasty Scoop. Nice shop, with fair prices...and they absolutely do not skimp on the scoop sizes!!

Finally got around to checking this new hot spot. It's only a 5 min walk for me so I have a feeling I will have to be careful I don't go overboard on the ice cream. I'm the type of person who can have ice cream year round so I love this place isn't just seasonal. I enjoyed a double scoop in a waffle dish. Sooooo good! Very colorful decor to make it fun and inviting. Service was great and the owner Dounia was so friendly and knowledgeable. They offer more than just ice cream. A spot in Burlington to check out if you feel like lunch/quick dinner and dessert. 👍👍👍👍👍 Don't forget to give a review as they are more than open and appreciative...

I was going to congrats Tasty Scoop ,(not a conglomerate,)but family owned business on their 5 yrs in business,They bend over backwards to accommodate people of all ages and disabilities, BUT first want to make it clear I,m NOT employed by Kawarthas DAIRY,guess at 88 they think I,m too,old,lol I,ve seen it all ,or so I thought ,can,t believe the rudeness of adults and children when a woman with 5 kids came in ,and said to owner Please don’t serve them if they don’t say please and thank you,well my faith restored in humanity RUDE adults enable their children to do...

Excellent Service !!! Didn’t have my favourite flavour.. But guaranteed they would have it on my next visit.. They offer a lot more than Ice Cream .. I tried a banana/Nutella crepe & it was delicious!! On my next visit.. they remembered my flavour request & had it in store!! Tried their homemade waffles.. I was asked if I wanted them soft or crispy .. chose crispy .. They were perfectly done .. I’ve since been back several time & have built a friendship with the owners.. Thanks for your awesome customer service.. very hard to find...
