Started working around the corner from here about 3 months ago and have visited a handful of times already. In my line of work I entertain a lot of clients and eat at a lot of restaurants. I am also a local guide on google to share my experiences with others to better their experience. That should give you an idea that I’ve been around the block. I must say this place is impressive! I’ll start with the staff, both guys working here are very good at their job, have excellent multitasking skills and pay attention to detail. The main bartender/server is a rockstar, he’s on the ball every time I come and the young guy he has been training is a fast learner and shows excellent potential. It’s very refreshing to see guys hustle as hard as they do and yet still remain cool, calm, collected and most of all friendly. The food, everything I have eaten here has been so good! From the salads to the new Asiago chicken sandwich and of course the wings with the delicious Parm fries! A little bit of a heads up to the manager, every onion ring or fry order should come with that amazing chipotle sauce you serve with just the onion rings. It’s soooo good! In closing I would just like to thank the 2 gentlemen who work here for making my lunch a pleasure. I will continue to support this establishment moving forward and be very happy doing it! Great job Ye Olde Squire and staff! Cheers guys,...
Read moreI am only giving a 3 for the moment as first weekend out of Covid and patio only. I am guessing not a lot of staff or supplies. Loved: Service was excellent, tables clean, decor on patio lovely. Wine: not a big selection but lovely Australian Shiraz. Disappointments: although coconut shrimp and onion rings were tasty, they were overdone. A minute less out of fryer, would have been perfect. We had to wait quite a bit in-between appetizers and entre and were told because of takeout orders I'm sorry, but those of us who ventured out and Sar on your patio should take precedent over a takeout, again likely due to lower staff, help in kitchen. When our dinners arrived, lukewarm. My husband enjoyed the Yorkshire Pudfing Bowl with Sheppards pie filling. Gravy a little too salty for our tastes, but that's a personal opinion. However, my perogies were not edible. I made the mistake of not asking what fried meant. I assumed pan fried, but they were deep fried (unheard of yo me) and I was unable to cut or chew. These I sent back. They took off the bill. We will go back when restaurant is fully operational once more and can sit inside as beautiful and the place we want to...
Read moreI was one of the bouncers tonight. The gentleman that took it upon themselves to post multiple reviews just to slander this establishment and lower its rating and reporting full information. The true story is when the initial two gentlemen were seated they informed the hostess that they had 4 more people coming in 15 minutes. One hour later the other 4 showed up. Unfortunately at this point the restaurant was at full capacity as per the limit on the locations permit. There was no reservations being taken this night and everyone was informed at the door that entry was based on occupancy not tables. The situation was explained to the two gentleman and they obviously didn’t like the decision to not allow their friends into a already full restaurant. They were very rude when leaving. It was a very unfortunate situation but nothing management could have done about it. If the other 4 had arrived in the 15 minutes that was stated in the beginning they would have be granted entry. Management cannot hold spots 45 mins after the time that was originally stated upon entry. This is the facts as...
