CoCo Bubble Tea (Edmonds) — Restaurant in Burnaby

Classic large chain to get bubble tea with pretty consistent quality throughout the franchise locations I’ve been to. This store in particular is quite large, very bright and clean. Staff are quick and efficient. I'd recommend half sweet for all drinks. I personally like less ice/no ice as well.

Pearl Milk Tea: my go-to drink, with powdered milk. It’s nice and creamy.

QQ Milk Tea (potato/taro balls): very tasty and chewy potato/taro balls. Milk tea flavour was great as usual

Bubble Gaga (Passion Fruit): strong passion fruit and tea flavour, with a good amount of toppings, but was a bit too sour for me.

Order placed through Uber with special instructions. Order was not fullfilled as requested and refused to change order upon arrival. Employees referred to contact Uber. Uber was not available so i placed another order as instructed by the employees since they claimed they can't change the order on their end and i didn't want to waste my time for a bbt order as i was on my way to a class. No where on the order form nor on their menu stated the drink i ordered is fixed and cannot be customized, other vendors would have call to let me know to make alternative arrangement but no call(s). I was only told in person and i patiently waited for my 2nd order as i had to pay twice to get customized drinks (adjusted sugar and ice level). Tried this place last week and wasn’t disappointed. The staff was great but just really hard to hear them because of the mask and the glass they have at cash (but it’s the crazy times we live in now) very generous with the boba like literally 1/4 of the cup was filled with them. The place kind of smelled weird though like had a really strong smell. They don’t do seating anymore so it’s just buy and go now. The bubble I got was brown sugar bubble tea wasn’t the sweetest so I would ask for extra brown sugar if you have a sweet tooth. Overall, would recommend anyone to give this place a try
