I think that the price is resonable, because they use the very good quality fresh milk and as well as other materials. when I ask them about where the materials they used from. They told me most were imported from Taiwan, which is the reason why the costs are a little bit high. Also the pearls drinks all already come with the pearls, do not need to pay extra. Even add one more, only 50cents, cheaper than other bubble tea store. Some of them charge 1 or 1.5 dollar for extra topping. Secondly, they use fresh milk instead of milk powder, use real fruit or fruit pulp, instead of just different types of syrup. Thirdly, the pearls all hand made. I indeed compare it with the pearls other bubble tea stores use, the taste really different. Finally, I have to say about plastic bags. We never get any bags from starbucks or Tim or Mac or Waves coffee when we get less than 4 cups of drinks. Even when we order a lot,.we might get a paper bag from them. Why someone insist on getting bags when they shop one or two drinks? Some drinks they cannot adjust sugar level, because no extra sugar added, only the brown sugar pears are sweet. We can choose less pearls and of course the ice level.
Sorry for the long speech of the feedback, I really love Xingfutang, and took their drinks for long time. I just want to explain some most people...
Read moreWent to buy a couple drinks recently. When I requested for a takeout bag so it wouldn't spill inside my car as I had other items to carry together later, the lady at the counter was very rude and said it was banned by the city and only reserved for the delivery companies. Although I did receive one eventually, she mentioned that in the future I would not be receiving one and if I wanted a bag, I would need to order from a delivery app.
I double checked with the staff if the plastic ban was already happening and she confirmed it was. From my understanding, the ban is starting Jan 1, 2021. I did not request specifically for a plastic bag - I just wanted a takeout bag. I'm all for protecting the environment, but if they are taking such a hard stance on this issue, they should not be including plastic straws and offering a more sustainable takeout bag option for customers that order both in the store and delivery apps alike.
In this unprecedented time, where takeout items are the norm, I would expect restaurants (and bubble tea shops alike) to make it convenient for...
Read moreMy 10 year old daughter decided she wanted to treat us to some bubble tea out of her own pocket. She's been offering to chip in or even treat us completely with her own money ever since she was about 4 years old. I truly believe that we won the "baby lottery" because our daughter is sweeter, kinder and more generous than I could have ever imagined she might be.
So, when I saw that Xing Fu Tang had an all day, everyday Happy Hour menu, I decided I would stick with that menu and save my sweet girl a few extra dollars since she was being so kind as to treat Mommy out of her own wallet. While she bought herself the ever so fancy Bunny Jelly Mango Smoothie, I ordered a Passionfruit Green Tea with Lychee Coconut Jelly from the Happy Hour menu.
Two thumbs up to both drinks, and I know from previous visits that they do very nice brown sugar pearls for anyone who's a brown sugar pearl fan.The store is clean, bright and spacious with several tables well spaced apart from each other.
