My husband brought home a couple of Bahn Mi sandwiches and drinks from Saigon Bites for lunch. Featured here:
Deluxe Bahn Mi Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi Pandan Coffee Ube Latte
These have to be some of the best Bahn Mi around anywhere! The sound of the crunch when he and our daughter sunk their teeth into these Bahn Mi sandwiches...Wow! The drinks were very tasty too. We had tried Ube Latte from a different shop in the past, and found it to be highly overrated. This Ube Latte however, was excellent. I could definitely taste the Ube this time, in addition to the coffee flavor. Pandan Coffee was wonderful as well, and the bright colours just make these drinks looks so pretty!
The one thing that would make this place better is if they would put some vegetarian options on their menu. All of their Bahn Mi sandwiches have meat in them. Avocado Bahn Mi or Egg Bahn Mi would be welcome additions to the menu.

Read moreI honestly have no complaints. Place was super cute, staff was friendly and made you feel very at home, and the food was delicious! Very sad that I didn't get to try the banh mi but the spring roll is very tasty and flavourful and even though it only comes with 2 per order, it's big and filling that the 2 is enough anyways.
I also didn't get to try the egg coffee (was the reason why I wanted to try it out) but they make it fresh daily and I went when it was almost closing time so they had already run out of it. Tried the taro and pandan coffee though and those were super delish! Make sure to mix it to get the flavour right because otherwise you're either drinking super strong coffee or super sweet taro/pandan milk.
Will definitely come back to finally try the banh mi and egg coffee, and will keep coming back for the pandan and taro coffee. Highly recommend if you want a chill place with really good coffee and even...
Read more5 starts! And why?? As the Vietnamese food lover, its hard to find the closest to the real Vietnamese sub "banh mi" in Victoria so we often got to the mainland to grab them. And I heard Saigon Bite just open so we gave it a try, and definitely this is the new places we going to everytime now (as you can see I bought the whole box 12 of subs home) LOL. The taste is just like Vietnamese sub in my hometown (Saigon) specially the "paté" is you must try (I actually ask to buy the whole pound of it separately to bring home so I can put on my breakfast egg. And don't forget the ice-milk coffee, it will complete your nice breakfast!! My kids not eat subs, but they love the pudding, and I heard them homemade this and its really good as well. The restaurant has really good vibe, friendly owner and staffs, we actually have chatted the whole time while im visiting and checked out the place.
Will come...
