finally got to eat at this place! awesome ambiance! had fire on the tv, good heat, and lounge music was really relaxing after my walk around PNE area. staff was very very patient with me and my husband's questions...bec we are Vegetarian, pregnant, and curious so we can do an honest review. i also saw ger clean the presentation glass which makes me happy bec it shows me the staff and the owner cares about cleanliness and presentation. a very clean place indeed.

bought hot chocolate and chocolate cake: hot chocolate had lots of froth. I didn't mind it. still tasted good. i could taste real coco and not powdered chocolate. worth the $$$. i dont appreciate having to pay for artificial powdered drinks for more than what they are worth. better than starbucks, blends, and tim hortons. suggestion on this drink is to make it a bit bigger and have an option to heat it up for dine in only. chocolate cake is moist, layered chocolate cake. very sweet and good portion as well. good for 2 people or 1 person who wants to kill time. the only downer is that it did taste stale a bit since it's been out for a time. but it didn't dampen any of our enjoyment of the cake.

so far the experience me and my husband had at this place was very enjoyable. people can hang out here for sure. not a lot of sockets for charging but there is a place for sure to lounge and study. different kinds of chairs for indoor and outdoor. you can share with a stranger or not. they also have other food but we wanted to compare their ordinary menu only.

the only thing that i had to comment on is on the dated washroom. but im sure they will clean it up. and that it's a really small place which restricts customer flow but was not a problem for us since there's not a load of people yet!

would def come back here again to try another treat they have and...

Updated Review! I've placed all my orders here through UberEats, so I can't speak much on their in-house service, but I believe it's a family-run café, which is always a nice touch! :)

Breakfast Sandwich – 9/10 Genuinely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Super tasty and well put together, definitely something I think everyone should try. It's always a bonus when the yolk is runny in this too!

Tuna Melt – 8.5/10 This is my go-to sandwich. I’ve had some underwhelming tuna melts elsewhere, that barely added any seasoning to the filling, but theirs is flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly made with effort. My only complaint is the portion, it’s a bit small.

Daily soup- 7.5/10 Tried one of their soups as part of a combo with the sandwiches. I grew up in a European family that made similar veggie/bean-heavy soups, so this was right up my alley. That said, it could use a bit more pasta (I only got about four shells) and a larger portion. Still, it was flavorful and comforting!

Carrot Cake – 8.5/10 A generously sized slice! It has walnuts and raisins, which I’m usually not a fan of texture-wise and sometimes places overdo it but it’s so moist and well-made that you barely notice them. It honestly just feels like the perfect balance of flavors and texture. I get this all the time too.

Cappuccino – 7/10 I’m picky about my coffee. This one tastes like your standard café cappuccino nothing bad about it, just not my personal fave. Still enjoyable, though!

I really do reccomend this place to anyone who is curious or wants to just try something new. You can tell everything is made fresh and with quality! Hope to check this place out in person to tryout...

I saw this coffee shop on Instagram, and their high points looked quite unique, especially the vegan matcha cookies. The shop itself is not very big, but the decor is simple and nice. Unfortunately, the matcha cookies that I specifically wanted to buy were not available, and the pastries seemed limited. However, I still bought a blueberry bun and Rugelach jam cookies to-go. Additionally, there was another shelf nearby that was full of packages of dried fruits. I was curious, so I asked the only employee for information about the products, such as whether the dried fruits had added sugar, but she didn't know anything about the price or the products. Nonetheless, I still bought a bag of mulberries to try at home. As I was leaving, I saw someone eating breakfast, which looked fresh and appealing, so I plan to try it next time I come. When I got home and tried the to-go items, I highly recommend the Rugelach jam cookies. Each bite had a rich caramel flavor and a great texture, and it paired perfectly with a cup of black coffee. I hope to have a better experience next time, so that I can give a...

Let me share with you this wonderful slice of Heaven. To start I had the Matcha Latte. It was rich and ended on a bitter note. Now if you've ever been to Japan or want to taste a more 'traditional' style Macha Latte then I highly reccomend this item! However if you prefer the Starbucks style Sweet Matcha latte, it may suit you better if you add some honey. More Importantly let me tell you about the Bread! This store has homemade, fresh bread available everyday! I had the hot dog bread. (which was so good I forgot to take a picture before I bit into it!) This bread was light, fluffy and buttery. The hot dog size was generous and the barista heated it in the oven which made the bread melt in my mouth! It was so good, that I actually got off my bus and went back to buy another one! The cafe's atmosphere is chill and was a perfect place for me to study for my finals! It was a warm, comfortable and homely feel! 10/10 would reccomend!
