WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
Went on Saturday with a group of 3 friends at around 2:30pm. The place was understaffed (2 people) and took 30 minutes before we were able to place our order, and another 40 minutes to get our drinks. Be prepared to expect long wait times for your orders, might be better off ordering via food delivery app instead.
Got two of the mystery cups, one 'handmade brown sugar pearl milk' (one of their recommended flavours) and one 'the zang strawberry', and one 'black grape yogurt' (another recommended flavour) and one 'strawberry milk tea'.
For the mystery cups, while the cup itself is very large, only the top 30% of the cup is filled with the drink (from the Got Lot Tea text and upwards, I didn't take any pictures but there are pictures and videos from other reviewers). To make matters worse, 75% of the drink was ice for both orders, and if it couldn't get any worse, both drinks were bland. For the brown sugar pearl milk, it was basically watered down milk and the only hints of brown sugar flavoring came from the tapioca pearls. Similarly for the zang strawberry, it was essentially watered down milk with chopped strawberry bits.
Unfortunately, the strawberry milk tea wasn't very good either.
Also in my personal opinion, their DIY charm decoration option is very pricey, it ranged from around $15 for decorating a popsocket to $50 for decorating a small storage box.
On a good note, the black grape yogurt was very good. The decor of the place was aestheticly pleasing.
Perhaps it is their fresh milk and milk tea series that is not very good. Would recommend their yogurt series, but it's definitely not worth the...
Read moreGot Lot Tea is a bubble tea shop in Burnaby that's got lots to offer. Let's start with the most obvious, which is their bubble tea!
For $12.99 you can get a 1000mL Vitamin C Ton Ton Bucket or a Milk Ton Ton Bucket. My daughter and I shared the Milk Ton Ton Bucket and it was delicious. The Milk Tea flavor was strong, it was a good amount of sweetness and there were lots of toppings in it. I only expected pearls but this drink had at least 3 different toppings in it if not more.
In addition to Bubble Tea, they also offer activity at this shop. There's a craft table with drawers containing a wide assortment of charms that you can use to decorate various accessories such as hair clips, photo frames, cellphone cases and keychains. Our daughter loves arts and crafts so I couldn't bring her to this shop without allowing her to decorate something at least once, so she got to decorate a hair clip.
They also offer Mystery Cups (Limited Time offer) at this shop with "mystery" prizes to be won at the bottom of the cup. I brought our daughter back about a couple of weeks later so that she could try the Mystery Cup. I ordered a Peach Sparkling Drink while she ordered a Brown Sugar Pearl Milk for her Mystery Cup. Supposedly you can win prizes such as lipstick or keychains. Our daughter won a coupon for a free Classic Milk Tea, so guess what? We made our 3rd visit to Got Lot Tea about 3 days later so that we could redeem her free Classic Milk Tea! She got her Classic Milk Tea and I ordered Lychee Sparkling drink!
We sure got lots out of our 3 visits to Got Lot Tea!

Read moreabsolutely horrendous service. i asked which drinks were eligible for the mystery cup and proceeded to order a drink. the girl (working may 18th at 3:30pm) FAILED to tell me that the mystery cup was a “special size” (why it was not even an option on the menu is absolutely beyond me) and then proceeded to act extremely dumbfounded and annoyed. i had already IMPLIED that i wanted the mystery cup and she failed to let me know that “large” ≠ “mystery cup” size. she also refused to help me in any way (even a little bit of reimbursement would’ve made me feel more satisfied with the service). if you’re going to answer my questions about the mystery cup, why wouldn’t you clarify the discrepancy between the cup sizes? i ordered a peach oolong tea which was pretty subpar (you’ll get an infinitely better one for the same price at 101boba in metrotown nearby or even chatime or coco for that matter). this place is just popular because it’s trendy. don’t come here and leave disappointed — in fact, just don’t come here at all. the service is absolutely horrendous and laughable. i would have even appreciated a mere “sorry” - but nope! it’s nowhere to be found! that’s $12 i’ll...
