This is an excellent store, with lots of collectables and novelty items. The store as a whole seems to focus more on being a casual hobby shop, than an active Game Shop. It focuses much less on hosting TCG type events, and more on casual games. It's a very refreshing find in a market and time dominated by TCG Tournaments.

Other than their card selection, you can find plenty of other collectables, such as Funko toys, Puzzles, Toys from various franchises and even replica weapons. They also have many things for tabletop games, such as D&D, Cards Against Humanity, Monopoly, and more. If you're looking for casual tabletop games in the Metrotown Area, I cannot recommend this store enough!

My one issue with this store, is availability. There are some products that this store just doesn't carry, and with a store of this size that's to be expected. If you're looking for TCG Products, such as Yugioh Cards, Pokemon Cards, MTG Cards, and other TCG Accessories, I'd recommend you look at other stores, as it isn't this one's forte. That being said, that's not even entirely a bad thing! As it allows for this store to be much more available to a completely different crowd of players. :)

Overall, I highly recommend this store to any fans of Novelty Items, Collectables, and Tabletop games. As for fans of TCG Games, it's still definitely worth a look, just be prepared to accept they may not have what you're...

Was buying some trading cards for a friend and was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't realize till I got back to his place that they sell booster boxes of trading cards for the same price as individual packs, so there's no point to buying in bulk from this place.

That part is half my fault for not paying attention and this reviews wouldn't exist if that was the only issue because the worst part is the box they handed me was damaged....

Luckily the cards weren't damaged and my friend got good pulls but that is still on them for not having any quality control over their invetory (especially with that premium) even if I didn't fully inspect the product before they put it in the bag.

Buy your trading cards somewhere else unless you want to be ripped off or receive potentially damaged product. They have no idea what they're doing when it comes to card game's; to the point where you'll end up paying more...

Usually a great place to shop, but the dude who works there with the hat and beard can be unfriendly and arrogant. I was sharing the joy of cracking booster packs as a passing comment, and felt a bit shamed by his comment, ā€œI only buy the singles I need.ā€

Like, do you not want me to buy the packs? I’ll take my cash elsewhere, and since you specialize in packs and not singles, I’m not exactly sure the selling strategy that comment entails. Am I stupid for wasting money on frivolous packs?

I guess I’ll go to stronghold and only buy the singles I need, and be real smart like that pretentious guy with the hideous hat.

Thank your employee for the tip! I hope his personal opinions continue to ruin...
