I still want to give this place a chance. I work nearby and my team and I would frequent this place once a month. During warmer months, we tend to come even more often. When I lived in New West, I would come here so much more often with my husband and used to really love it. It used to be my favorite restaurant for Beef Stew, Pho and lemon grass chicken dishes. I used to really crave their food. The very last time I did takeout (beef stew) I was surprisingly disappointed. There was very little noodle and possibly only 3 beef chunks in my stew. That was supposed to be a large and they charged me for a large but I am quite certain that it was a small. I dismissed this incident thinking that sometimes mistakes happen. The second time I had come for lunch with my team, our soups were pretty basic. We asked for lime, but never ended up getting it and gave up trying. I really worry that my favorite place will start becoming careless towards their portions, quality or customer service. Please fix it....

The price is more affordable and the portions are bigger here compared to the other place.
For me, I either order a large #14 (I consider this their "special pho" with everything) or I order #60 their rice plate with everything (pork, chicken, fried egg, shredded pork). I've also ordered the spring rolls and salad rolls, both come with 3 rolls. Taste is standard, but the price is hard to find nowadays.
The seem to be quite busy near lunch time. The tables turnover so quickly that the workers barely have a chance to clear the table and sit you down before another set of people come in.
Overall, I would recommend this place over the other nearby. This is the typical Vietnamese place with the classics. Also more bang for your buck.
Parking is abundant here and they also accept...

We ordered the rare beef and beef ball pho to share with our toddler. There was plenty of beef slices and a few pieces of beef balls. The beef balls taste great and have a good texture...the rare beef slices are a little chewy but still yummy. The only issue with the pho is that I'm super thirsty afterwards because of the MSG in the broth.
Service is minimal. They come and take your order and bring you the food and they basically won't bother you again till you pay or ask for something, but they are nice and friendly.
At the end of the meal, when you walk up to pay, there is a box filled with fortune cookies. We usually grab a couple...my toddler's favourite part of the meal :)
We will be back...usually on the nights I've ditched my...
