Ordered ahead for pick up off of UberEats, app told me 15 mins. Got the notification 10 mins after I ordered that my food was ready. I showed up a little after the 15 minute window that said originally it would take. I go inside they tell me that haven’t even started it and it’ll be 5 minutes to make. I say okay, but let them know I got the notification it was ready. They didn’t seem to care. I end up waiting another 10 minutes for my food which now leaves me less than half of my lunch break to eat my lunch (which is a half hour break). I get the chicken Caesar salad with a side of pita and tzatziki. They didn’t pack my tzatziki so I have a dry piece of pita which tastes like they bought at save on beside them. And a salad on brown lettuce. The only redeeming quality was the chicken was hot and had a pretty good taste. They didn’t care that I had ordered ahead. The restaurant was not busy and they weren’t making any other food just standing around when I came in. So I don’t really understand why they hadn’t at least started my food. Or why they said it was ready. As I know you have to press an button on the ubereats app to say it’s ready to let the customer know they can pick up. All around a pretty...
Read moreCame in for take out, saw the roast lamb was $19.00 which is better then most places which charge 24.99-29.99. Good deal, Only problem is the older lady who runs the shop. Very much on the rude side, not sure if she's just having a bad day or like that everyday. At the counter I placed my order and had $20 cash in my hand, she goes its 19.95. I gave her the 20 and she handed me back the 5 cent change. I placed the nickel in the tip jar and with a rude voice she goes "you don't need to tip" (I'm getting take out, I'm getting no additional service expect for my meal being made). After that she starts to walk away and say it will be 10-12 min. When the order was done and said here's the roast lamb, I said thank you and all she said was yup in a rude voice. How I took it was she was insulted by me leaving a nickel behind in the jar. That to me is not someone who's in the industry for customer service but just there to do a job. Tips should not be expected for take out orders but good customer service should be. The meal was great but unfortunately her attitude won't be bringing me back, rather pay a few extra dollars and have a better...
Read moreI came here once for a takeaway lunch, and there were no customers in the restaurant, only a woman sitting there playing on her phone. After I ordered food that cost $19.95 after tax, I paid $20 in cash. I threw the five-cent change into the glass jar labeled ‘Tips’ in front of the cashier. The woman told me it would take about ten minutes, so I went next door to buy some bread and came back to pick up my meal. When she saw me enter, she finally got up from her chair to heat up my food. Then she took out the receipt and the five cents I had thrown into the tip jar, placed them on the table, and reminded me not to forget my change. I told her it was fine, she didn’t need to give me the change, and I threw it back into the tip jar. But she took out the five cents again and said, ‘This isn’t a tip to me.’ So, five cents isn’t money to her? How much does she expect me to give for it to count as a tip? Then she didn’t give me any utensils—was I supposed to eat lamb rice with my hands? Besides the poor service, the roast lamb I ordered wasn’t even heated properly—it was cold! I really urge everyone to never come to...
