Hidden gem 💎 for Korean chicken and yummy burgers/sandwiches. It's a dine in restaurant that you order and pay first at the counter. The prices are affordable and the quality is really good! We ordered a turkey club sandwich combo with a can of pop and fries on the side. We also ordered half an order of their sweet spicy marinated chicken and a side order of coleslaw. Total for all items (not including tip) $36. You had the option of mild or spicy for the spice level on the sweet spicy chicken. I opted for mild and it still had a nice spice! The chicken was super juicy and delicious! I loved the flavouring of the sweet n spice. The coleslaw was super fresh. The turkey club on its own is around $7.50 and for that price it was very delicious. The cranberry sauce was amazing. You could taste the fresh ingredients and the bread was well toasted. With the fries as a combo it's $11.50 and they were definitely Costco fries which we totally love. Not greasy at all! We also read reviews that their snow fries is a must order so we ordered some to go and can confirm it is worth the $6.50 price! There's also a self-serve station for utensils, condiments and water. After you order you can sit at the tables and they kindly bring it to your table :) All in all this is a must go! Definitely will come back again and hope to one day come for their lunch specials as it looks like an amazing deal! They have their own parking lot and just note that they close from 3-5pm.

A NOTE TO FUTURE REVIEWERS: The workers and the owner inside do not like have their faces captured. It would be if you asked before taking pictures in the store. Overall a nice dining environment, however the retro style decor and interior design could possibly give off a rusty/musty feel. The store is very clean however, so rest assured. The store owner, young man with black mask and black cap, is friendly once you talk to him. The fried chicken tastes alright, slightly sweet fried batter outside and juicy chicken on the inside. However, compared to other Korean fried chicken places I don't notice too great of a difference in flavor. There is a great difference in price though, something I love about this place! You can get 6-7 pieces of chicken for $11, which is their "small" order. Other places only have a half/full order, while K chicken has a small order- kind of like a taster. Would come back again! The location is more hidden so not many people know of it.

Delicious food at affordable prices. Place operates like a restaurant but you pay at the counter. Drinks, utensils and everything else are self serve. The fried chicken is extremely well breaded, and well sauced. We had a mix of a half and half of the boneless chicken and each piece was extremely delicious and just bursting with flavour. Sauce so liberally applied and there was more than enough to become dips for the fries. The fries were top notch, sprinkled generously with cheese. Highly recommended. The restaurant is spacious enough to host groups upwards of 10 people with room to spare. A gem in the Holdom area.

I came in today on Monday, around 2:30 PM. K Chicken is only 5 minutes away and I had been meaning to come by sometime to try the food but I never got around to it.

I got off the bus a stop late today and ended up in the area and I hadn’t had lunch so I thought hey why not. Approaching the door, the place seems almost humble, and a little forgotten. The bit of grass on the path is slightly unkempt, and you can’t see through the windows from the outside because all the blinds are down.

As I walk in, the place looks bigger than I thought. The walls are kind of a light orange tan colour, the bottom half of which are covered by faux wood panelling. There’s fluorescent lights in the ceiling and the floor is chequered in square black and white tiles. The chairs are brown, the tables are brown, the brick wallpaper around the counter is brown.

Everything is brown

And it’s a bit dark but you can see outside through the blinds. There’s a clock with roman numerals high in the left corner, faintly ticking through the hum of kitchen appliances. Above the self service counter are shelves where tea sets sit, beautiful and poised. Hanging in the washroom above the toilet there’s a a framed drawing of flowers. This place feels comforting, and a little otherworldly.

Also the chicken was tender and juicy and the outside was crispy and delightful. The fries were perfect golden brown and the sauces were delicious.

I’m going to try a chicken burger next time, hopefully with someone else...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at K Chicken in Burnaby, and it was truly a delightful experience that left my taste buds dancing with joy. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable meal.

The star of the show at K Chicken is undoubtedly their mouthwatering Korean Fried Chicken. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, each piece of chicken was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Whether you prefer it classic, sweet and spicy, or soy garlic, the flavors burst in your mouth, leaving you craving for more.

The restaurant's menu is diverse, offering a wide selection of Korean dishes. I couldn't resist trying their Kimchi Pancake, which was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. Additionally, the Japchae was a delightful mix of chewy sweet potato noodles, fresh vegetables, and succulent beef, making it a true comfort food.

What impressed me the most, apart from the delectable food, was the attentive and friendly staff. They were more than happy to explain the dishes and make personalized recommendations based on preferences. The service was prompt, and my food arrived piping hot, ensuring a delightful dining experience from start to finish.

As for the ambiance, the restaurant's contemporary yet cozy interior made for a comfortable and relaxed setting. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, or on a date, K Chicken is an ideal spot to savor authentic...
