An odd rainy day in the middle of summer. Came out to grab a bite to eat after a day of work. Now with experience in the city for so many years.. I NEVER leave my umbrella in the holder in a spot where I cannot see it. So I usually roll it up and take it in with me.
Lady with the pony tail (they probably purposely don’t wear name tags because they’re worried they’ll be named…) instantly was like “put the umbrella there.” — indicates towards the bucket outside of the second door aka HUGE blind spot. She reluctantly gave us a plastic bag (see picture of blue umbrella in bag) and as we sat down, the table behind us had a black umbrella right by the booths so I’m not sure why WE had to forcibly leave our umbrella by the door and the other person did not have to.
Anyways, the service is mediocre. I mean it’s not a Michelin restaurant so I’m not expecting the royalty treatment however there was no service. After being seated, she asked if we wanted water or tea. My partner said water.. we were served tea. She came back a minute after we flipped open the menu to ask if we were ready to order.. I haven’t even looked at the first word yet! She left after we said one more minute… she came back 10 minutes later taking her sweet time.
My partner asked what the difference between large and small in terms of soup noodles.. she just went ahead and asked him to pick a number. Then she asked “what size?” Partner asked the question again and she just went “okay Large.”
🤯🤯🤯
My turn, I wanted the raw steak and tripe (number 13) and I immediately said Small. She asked me “what size.”
I repeated “number 13 small” two more times before getting irritated because she kept asking me “what size?”
She then goes “I couldn’t hear you, the music is too loud.”
Listen, there was music but it was barely there. Please STOP lying to my face.
I wanted Salad Roll, I asked for Shrimp and she kept going “Shrimp and Ham Salad Roll.” I swear I was about to lose my marbles on her..
Just prepare yourselves for a weird experience. Food was ok but very irritable service and environment. In this tipping culture, this is the type of service that only gets 10%...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently visited Pho Super Bowl and had an absolutely fantastic experience! This place is a pho-nomenal gem, and I can't stop raving about it. The portions are humongous, the service is outstanding, and it's a must-visit when you're in the area.
This is the second location of Pho Super Bowl, and I prefer it for its size and impressive bubble tea menu. The hands that crafted my bubble tea seemed destined to create the perfect cup. The soft, squishy pearls paired perfectly with the milk tea, especially the delightful taro flavor – something about that taro milk tea hits different!
I opted for Combo A with a bowl of pho, lemongrass chicken, and spring rolls. Lemongrass chicken on rice is my go to and I can’t stop thinking about it…. It’s been a few days. Even split between two people, it was almost too much deliciousness to handle – we couldn't finish it all! The prices are reasonable, and there's a fantastic 20% off deal until Jan 8, so don't miss out.
Let's talk about the appetizers – top-tier! The deep-fried squid had just the right amount of crispiness, and the chicken wings were juicy and flavorful. Every bite brought joy to my taste buds.
Pho Super Bowl is a place that brings so much joy, and I genuinely hope everyone in Vancouver gets to experience the magical beauty of this place. Highly recommended for pho enthusiasts and anyone looking for a delightful...
Read moreWhen I arrived, it was the late lunch hour already so it wasn’t as busy, they looked for a table for me but only wiped half of that table (should hope they would wipe down the whole table but they might thought the other side doesn’t look like it was dirty). I asked for cooked sprouts with noodles and the sprouts came while I was doing other things, when the noodle bowl was served, I noticed the sprouts were not close to warm before adding into the bowl, so I asked the waitress again if it was cooked, she came and told me no without actually checking; I tried to eat a few but it was definitely not cooked. It was sunny outside and my seat was by the window so it was directly under bright light, nobody cared to check if it could be uncomfortable for me and I had to try to find fix the blinds myself.
Conclusion, waitresses were not the most conscious of service nor considerate, but most importantly, when I told them something may be wrong, they kinda brushed me off.
Food wise, not the worst, much similar to another one few blocks down the street. I had been here before but this time was the worst of its service. I tried to be generous in my rating because I did had a couple good plates/bowls before. However, though I’m in the neighbourhood a lot, I may not be interested in coming back unless I run out of...
