Shiny Tea Crystal Mall — Restaurant in Burnaby

Friendly staff, but bland tea. I had the Panda Milk Tea, regular ice and sweetness. Nice that it's slightly less sweet than other milk teas, but unfortunately the flavour is too subtle and lacking in depth.

Pearls are okay, a bit on the "al dente" side but it might be a personal preference thing. This drink comes with standard black pearls and smaller white/clear pearls, but they taste the same and only differ in size. More of a marketing gimmick in my opinion.

At least they take credit card, since many places in Crystal Mall are cash only. Probably wouldn't order from here again, since $5 for the medium/small is too pricey for...

I ordered the mango slush. Service was so disrespectful and awfully rude for no reason. No greeting just staring at me with mouth open. No communication and they told me 10mins for my drink..when only 1 person ahead of me…which is ridiculous. What makes this location special can be attributed to their quality tea and rich aroma along with fresh pearls while keeping the price for each cup lower than average. One of the best in metro Vancouver. There's a few individuals working here with fantastic mixer tea brewer skills although the customer service and tea availability can improve. Their ice cream has good flavor too.
