At the time of my visit, there was only one worker his name was BOYD & I need to give him lots of credits for managing the cashier & doing the sandwiches all by himself.
He had 3 different customers including myself & he was using every bit of his time to the advantage of all the customers that were present. He kept his priority to the first client he was serving then the following ones.
He would take their order then while the sandwich is in the oven, he would take the next order of the following customer. He welcomed the second customer & took her order (but did not make the sandwich yet). As soon as the oven rang, He did not make the 1st client wait & finished off the order by placing the condiments & he went straight to cash so that the client can pay and leave. Note: he removed his gloves. Then, coming back to the sandwich station, I noticed he DISINFECTED his hands & CHANGE HIS GLOVES TO A NEW ONE. Then, he continued with the order of the 2nd customer.
I was the last customer of the 3 that he had to serve so I saw the repetitive attentiveness of HAND HYGIENE. He would ALWAYS DISINFECT his hands & CHANGE HIS GLOVES TO NEW ONES. When it was my turn, he was waiting for 2nd customer's order that was in the oven, so meanwhile, he took me & my Father's orders. When the oven rang, he put all his attention to the second customer once again. Then, finished off with her order by placing the condiments & he went straight to the cash. And again, he removed his gloves. Once done, he disinfects his hands carefully and place new pair of gloves. Then, it was my turn
When it was my turn & I confronted Boyd. I told him: " I just need to tell you. I was observing you the whole way through & let me thank you & tell you how much I APPRECIATE you doing the proper hand hygiene when dealing with the food people/we are about to eat. I am sincerely AMAZED 👏. I do not know if someone told you this yet, but you needed to hear it & need lots of credits!!". As the 2nd customer was leaving she said, she agreeded with what I was saying too.
He chuckled & said "I see people doing their part wearing the masks & disinfecting their hands, so I SHOULD do my part too". I asked his name politely & told him, I am so amazed that I needed to place a review on Google. He was so happy & thanked me.
One thing that sucks about their subway debit/credit payment machine is that you can't tip. So I had to find cash to give (I had to hustled my Father 🙈). It sucks...I wished it was included in their machine & more people would tip him & his coworkers there 😔 During Covid, nobody really carries cash with them.
Hence, I really APPRECIATE this gentleman. I just needed to share the story with you guys. During Covid or not Covid Hand Hygiene is very important, specially when handling food. Muchas Gracias Boyd (from Subway C.S.L.)!! 👏🎉👏🎉 5 ⭐...

Read moreI usually try to avoid leaving comments when it comes to fast food restaurant. I am writing this in hopes that the owner will read this. I have eaten at few subway restaurants around the city and this location is the worse Franchise. If you care about Hygiene do not eat at this location. The stuffs do not change their gloves while making sandwiches. On several occasions, I witness stuff touch the cash register with gloves and proceeded to go make a sandwich. On a different occasion, an employee picked a utensil from the floor with gloves and went on to make a sandwich for a customer. Plus the counter and where the food is kept...
