Amazing Takeout from Mazzeh – Flavors That Shine!

I recently ordered from Mazzeh on Uber Eats, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The Beryani was a true standout. Served with fresh, warm bread, the Beryani was packed with tender, flavorful meat and aromatic spices that made each bite a joy. The rich, savory flavors were perfectly complemented by the soft bread, which made the dish feel both comforting and satisfying.

The Abgoosht it came with was another highlight—absolutely delicious and hearty. The stock was rich, full of depth, and wonderfully flavorful, with perfectly balanced spices. It was a perfect dish for a cozy night in.

To top it all off, the Koobideh Kabobs were exceptional. The skewers of juicy, well-seasoned beef were grilled to perfection, with a slightly smoky flavor and a delicious char. Paired with Sangak bread, it made for a fantastic combination that left me craving more.

1rst time we order our order was around 50$. As it is pick up only, you would expect the food to be warm when it is served. However, we live 5-10min away, and besides the fact that the rice was lacking salt, the food was cold. We decided to give the place a 2nd chance as they are new. The second time, we literally said 3 times over the phone that the chicken is to be with bones and requested the food be warm. When we brought it home, the food was not barely warm. However, even worse, the chicken was BONELESS and not cooked properly, the lettuce was borderline rotten, and of course, the rice lacked salt as per usual. One thing is sure I will never eat there again and will be telling the community about our terrible experience.

Edit: the restaurant is basically telling me that we are lying and that the pictures we took are not of their food and that our order was processed properly. Refer to the reply of the restaurant below. Customer service -10/10. How the hell do you even know what our order was to have the audacity to say that we are lying. Hope they are compliant with law because they will be getting...

It was such an amazing experience. We ordered Koubideh, which was the best we've had in Montreal—very delicious and tasty. The staff were incredibly nice, polite, and respectful. The restaurant was very clean with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

Update: I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant because they initially served hot food in proper dishes, which felt both hygienic and environmentally friendly. Unfortunately, over time, they switched entirely to disposable plastic containers, whether dining in or taking out. Serving hot food in single-use plastic containers is not only less appealing but also raises serious health concerns, as heating plastic can release harmful chemicals into the food. I strongly recommend that management considers returning to safer, reusable dishes for a better customer experience and improved health standards.
