Discriminatory practices against people who live outdoors. Refused to accept my A&W gift card as payment, even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I argued with them for over half an hour, being accused of trying to scam them, simply because the cashier didn't want a "dirty homeless guy" in the restaurant. I ended up paying in cash, which the cashier was shocked to see that I had, and put in a complaint online about how I had been treated. Turns out it was only sent to the owner of the store, not the actual franchise, who promptly ignored the entire situation when he discovered that the complaint about his employee treating a customer with not only disrespect, but outright hostility, came from someone who doesn't have a residential address. Because he doesn't consider homeless people to be people, just like women and black people weren't considered to be people 100 years ago. This is an outright HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION. All I wanted to make things right was for the employee to apologize to me for treating me like I was less than human, but the owner refused to even acknowledge any communication I sent after the initial complaint.

This location is prejudiced against people who live outdoors. Tried to refuse me service by saying my gift card was no good even though it had, and still has, a $25 balance. Behaviour like this has no place in our society and I WILL NOT quietly have my human rights stripped from me. I have contacted the franchise about this matter and am currently awaiting...

The food was good and 2 out of the 3 staff were nice. I had ordered breakfast for my self and a chicken burger for my mom. The girl who took my order seemed like she was put off that she even had to be there and take order, i had to repeat myself a few times on some very simple asks and she bairly talked above a wiser. I go to the vehicle and noticed that I got a sausage and egg not a bacon and egg like I ordered. I popped in to see if I could get the correct one. The man in the back cooking came out as the other two were some where else and he was friendly and had no issues changing it and getting me the correct one. He came out and gave it to me and then one who took my order and started arguing with me saying I asked for sausage and that was what she keyed in. Saying I was wrong and even printed off the receipt to show me what she put in. I said that great but that is not what I asked for. Then the lady work the drive throu came over asking what happened, I explained and the girl still argued with and said I was wrong. The lady from the drive throu said I was good and that I could go with my bacon and egger. The girl who took my order looked angry at this and I just turned and walked away. Great staff they are super friendly how ever, they do not open the restaurant on time.. get there at 6, they will tell you the grill isn't ready? It gas happened three times now, will not go back till the manager has his store opened at the right time... I used to work at a A &W in high school, morning staff are supposed to get there 30 mins earlier to have the grill READY by the scheduled open time... no loose business multiple days because the staff haven't opened the store properly.. Some of the staff have very poor English comprehension, and are constantly making mistakes on orders, they even make mistakes on orders I brought back in to get fixed... They either just don't care or the Bar for customer service is getting low.... When you pay for things you are supposed...
