I’ve been to this location several times and have always enjoyed a tea from here while I shop around, regardless of the price or occasional long lines because their service is good and the staff is friendly. Tea is just tea from anywhere, so it didn’t matter to me much where it was from.
However, I’ve stopped coming to this store, or any Analogs for that matter. The turning point for me was the one time when I ordered my usual unsweetened tea misto, and received a sweetened one instead. I brought it to the attention of the cashier, who asked the barista if they had mistakenly put any syrup in it and when he said no, they turned to me to tell me that there shouldn’t be any sugar in it. I was shocked but stood my ground, telling them the tea is indeed sweet and would like one remade.
While I was waiting for the tea to be remade, I can clearly hear the conversation about this incident between the two staff, while I was standing right there listening on this conversation. I found this extremely unprofessional, offensive, and immature. I will never be returning to this...
Read moreI lined up in the left line behind someone who had just ordered and was paying. As soon as I went up to the counter, the woman who took the order walked away. I figured she was busy, so I waited a couple of minutes. There was no one in line on the right at the start of this wait. As time went on, more people started lining up on the right side and she took their orders. I thought it was odd, but didn’t say anything. A few minutes later, she loudly interjected “there’s a long line over there. You can go to the back” while pointing to all of the people who were now staring at me like I was trying to cut them. I told her the situation and she just said “well I closed that till” with an attitude like I was the biggest jerk. There was no sign posted, and I was already in line when she was using that till. It was very embarrassing for me. Will NEVER support this business if she’s the one...
Read moreReally good coffee, made to order. Poor hiring choice(s).
[August 16 2025 edit] Sadly...
This week I unfortunately had to deal with an extremely poor choice new hire at Analog Coffee. She would not speak up and I had to ask her twice to repeat herself. Further, when I asked for her to drop my baked good into my hand from the tongs (I like to not waste the bag), she decided to argue. I have ordered my coffee and baked good the same way - without a bag - for multiple years and never had this happen before.
If I see her there next week or any other week hereafter, I will be skipping Analog Coffee.
I did the math and at an average of $15.00 per weekend, that is $750/year that this person has now potentially cost you in sales.
DO BETTER.
I used to look forward to stopping here every Saturday before shopping...
