I’ve been a faithful customer of Jelly, since 2011 when I read about this donut shop in a local magazine. I go often to the locations downtown and at the farmers market, and have always found the quality to be high and the flavours unique and delicious. I am such a fan that I have hosted more than one of my birthday party’s growing up there, and will regularly have a jelly donut tower instead of cake on my birthdays now. Today around 4 I bought a dozen donuts and found green mold growing on my jelly donut on the icing part. Made a stop here while visiting the Calgary Farmer’s Market with my boyfriend. We tried the classic doughnut, which was dusted with powdered sugar with a dollop of raspberry jam in the middle. The total came to $3.10 after tax. You can really taste the quality compared to your average doughnut, the jam tasted fresh and homemade and the doughnut was soft and pillowy. Will be back to try...
