Calgary Farmers’ Market South is a wonderful destination full of energy, local charm, and amazing food but one spot that truly stands out is the Anatolia Restaurant. This hidden gem brings a genuine taste of Turkey right to Calgary, and every visit feels like stepping into a warm family home.

You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are deeply rooted in tradition, offering an experience that’s both comforting and unforgettable.
What makes Anatolia even more special is the owner himself. He’s one of the most kind and welcoming people you’ll ever meet. He greets everyone with a genuine smile and often takes the time to talk to customers, sharing stories about the food, Turkish culture, and his passion for hospitality. That personal touch turns an already delicious meal into something truly memorable.
Whether you’re visiting the market for local produce, artisan goods, or just looking for a great meal, make sure to stop at Anatolia Restaurant. It’s the heart of the market, a place where incredible flavors, warm people, and authentic culture come together perfectly. Definitely one of Calgary’s best culinary...
Read moreThe food is a quick trip to Turkey. The food is generous in the serving. This place is located in the north of the farmer's market near washrooms. If you enter from the southern gate you would not miss it if you follow to the end of the passage to your right. We ordered Sultan's delight which has two types of Kebabs (Chicken and Lamb) and a dish of one skewer of Chicken Kebab with Basmati rice in both. The rice was earthly warm.

And when I saw a measuring cup coming out to deliver me my measly portion of meat. “ Well I know what part of it I’m looking forward to”. I was wrong. I’ve literally eaten Doritos less dry than this meat. If it’s a problem with my taste buds, I’m glad I’m not right because this was egregious. Price, taste, how much they bent me over to defile me with outstandingly low performance at an already low bar. For your own sake,...
