Ranging from 12.5-$15 for korean bowl based food and with offerings of other side snacks (nigiri, gyoza, tempura, takoyaki, etc..) this korean/Japanese food spot in the farmers market is worth a visit. The folks here are approachable, friendly and quick to serve. Food comes piping hot and saucey. The one thing to note is the sizing of the food - although an appropriate eating size, it still feels a little smaller than what I would want for a meal size. The content itself is good but the rice and salad can perhaps be a wee bit more generous. Nonetheless, worth a visit and will be going back to try other variety of bowls.

While I have had their wonderful top-notch Korean chicken and rice dish before, today I recommended to my brother and 3 nephews, who all visited Crossroads this afternoon to have that very same meal for all of them today for lunch. Jess and the ladies there did NOT disappoint as my nephews and brother (and myself included) all highly enjoyed our meals! 😊 My oldest nephew raved about the taste of the chicken and sauce, and my youngest nephew said that if he were rating Asahi, he would give them 5 stars! What can I say? Done and done! 😃😄😋

Aashi Sushi is my favourite place to get takeout in the city. It is incredibly charming, the staff are genuinely some of the kindest strangers you’ll ever meet ♥️ The bibimbap is astounding it’s become one of my favourite comfort dishes to make due to how well they make it. I’m a vegetarian and their Korean fried honey cauliflower is the best dish i’ve ever had. I’m not always living in the city but whenever i’m back I make sure to go over, cause I honestly can not gets enough of this place <3

I was surprised to see only a few reviews for this place! Great food at reasonable prices and the staff was very friendly. I tried the bibimbap (pork belly) which I also added some kimchi to. Delicious meat, veggies and an egg over well cooked rice. I was not disappointed.

Also split an order of takoyaki with my partner, which was not on the main menu but advertised on a small board along with the current specials. They had a more crisp outside than I'm used to getting which I really liked, and I hope they stay on offer as they'll be my snack of choice when visiting the market.

Highly recommended. You know a place is good when you haven't finished eating and you're already trying to pick what you should eat the next...
