barBURRITO — Restaurant in Calgary

pathetic customer service and rude behaviour.! got into the restaurant around 3:35pm on christmas day where they were going to close at 4:00pm. ordered 3 bean burritos. the lady looked in hurry to close even before closing time 25mins before closing she choose not to refill black beans.! we were ok to have pinto beans.!! we have been regular customer and the same lady was working today when I asked her to put more salsa she is like i am gonna charge 1$ extra for that, I am ok to pay but what about all times when you have added that without any charge.! how fare is that? or just because i am coming on christmas day and you guys are open you can start charging for anything.! Her rude behaviour doesnt stop here.! later when i am asking pls put hot sauce 1-2 drops she is putting full 2 tablespoon of hot sauce in burrito and saying sorry, like what can i do with your sorry? I should burn my tastebuds and gut and the same thing happened actually.! burrito was so spicy and was unable to eat.! we were 3 of us and the time she handed burrito it was 3:47 we asked politely its chilly outside if we can dine-in and we will finish in 5-7 min and its not even closed she is refusing to sit and saying i have to mop.! come on have some sort of customer service you close taking orders at 4:00pm, rather put a board that after 4:00pm we will kick out the customers.!! owners have that urge to earn more revenue on days where most of restaurants are closed but see if emplyoes are really interested in working?!! I am pretty much sure i am not coming back again for buying a burrito that burns my mouth and have pathetic customer service!! I know its christmas day but keep that thing in mind you are not giving free food, you are...

I get that there are portioned scoops for a reason. They limit over serving. They were so cheap here that I got probably 2 scoops of the last four scoops of rice. Dry, crunchy and disappointing. On top of that, the guy tried so hard to make sure the scoop was flat on top as possible with no mountain that he actually didn’t fill up the scoop. It was actually 3/4 of a scoop. Some product slightly higher that a flat portion would have gave me the correct amount. I got the last of the lettuce shreds too. For corn, green pepper and cilantro, he literally did a pinch… it was like 5 kernels of corn. Like cmon. I don’t even get sauce or other vegetables. My burrito was small today. Jerk chicken wasn’t moist like it usually is when it’s fresh. Utterly disappointing. I won’t visit Walden or this location again. Best ones are in South center and Sunridge.

Came after the reply that they will work on better proportions. Same bulls*it. Barely 2 scoops of rice, other locations do two full scoops. Last 2 scoops of rice again. 1.5 scoops of beans, other places 2 full scoops. Had to ask for corn like 5 times because she was giving me like 5 kernels a go, same with lettuce, green peppers and cilantro. Barely a pinch.

This place is an absolute joke compared to some of its other stores.

These guys are so incredibly cheap. You will have to ask for more several times to get a normal sized burrito. Not to mention, if they are this cheap, how fresh is the food… doesn’t taste as fresh as other same locations.

This is my last time at this one. Opportunity lost. Good luck with...

My lady and I love this company and the food, our experience at all the different restaurants we’ve patronized has been fantastic until this visit. I ordered two large burritos with double meat on both. The young man serving would not fill the serving spoon with meat as I’m assuming is the reason it’s the size it is. He proceeded to only give the smallest amounts of toppings even with requests to have more added.

I know I came later in the evening, about 8:45pm. 20% of our rice was hard and as little of it even had a burnt taste but very hard to chew. The beef also had some burnt pieces. Overall the flavours were good as always but I paid for double meat on both burritos and got the same amount of meat I would normally get on a standard large. Very disappointed with losing the value I have come to appreciate from this chain and the very reason I keep coming back, for quality and taste and value. The worst of all of it is that I will resist coming so late as the food I brought home made both of us sick the next morning.

I will ask for details the next time I come on about how the portions are supposed to be measured so I can know when I am being looked after correctly. These two burritos were a lot smaller than the size I came for and paid for.

I will not be patronizing the McLeod Trail location again. I have a great experience at the East Hills location, We have been so very satisfied every time we come to...
