Bravo Restaurant — Restaurant in Calgary

Based on reviews, I went out of the way to find this place. When I went through the door the place was completely empty and music just blaring.

I noticed that the prices didn't match those online and the owner acknowledged that. I asked the owner if he could turn the music down because I had a headache. He said sure or, he said with a big smile on his face, you can sit way over there (at the very end of the cafe). I said: you know what? Or I could just leave. Being the rude person he is he said: bye bye...

So I left and went to Molcajete at the Crossroads Market. The service was excellent, friendly, and the carnitas burrito excellent. Very kind staff and flavourful all round.

I had the most amazing birthday dinner at Bravo Restaurant with a group of 12, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Bravo serves authentic Latin American street food like tacos, burritos and pupusas. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, vibrant colors, making it the perfect setting for a special celebration.

The food was incredible! Every dish was fresh, and thoughtfully prepared.

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time, and wow… I’m still thinking about the food. I ordered the Tinga de Pollo tacos, and from the very first bite, I knew this was something special. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with smoky, savory flavor that made every bite better than the last.

For dessert, I went with the tres leches cake and let me tell you, it was absolutely to die for. Soft, moist, and perfectly sweet, it practically melted in my mouth. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

Everything from the flavors to the presentation was outstanding. This place is a must visit if you want authentic, mouthwatering Latin American food that will have you coming back again and again. I will definitely be back...
