Bulk Barn — Restaurant in Calgary

I honestly wish I could rate them 0 stars. I was there around a mi th ago with my kids and I was grabbing some stuff... my toddler was playing walking through the aisle placing his hand on top of the containers but not even opening them; when all of a sudden ihear an associate yelling HANDS OFF! To someone when i turn around i notice it was to my kid... my blood boiled and walked out of the store; called and requested a manager and as i'm about to explain she is like yeah you were here and your kid had his hands inside of a container so i explained that is not the way to talk to anyone let alone a kid and that he could have referred to me if that was the situation when why acultually happened it's that that specific container had no lid and she went on to explain that they were working on it, but here was no one around, she made excuses and defended the employee which it was beyond ridiculous. never ever going back to that location i have driven to the south since the. to do my shopping and the employees over there are attentive,...

Today, I walked into Bulk Barn at 2:30 PM and was greeted by a rusty-looking lady wearing a face mask—as if we were still in the height of 2020. Her clothes were covered in dog hair, adding to the overall unprofessional appearance. I brought my parrot with me, and she rudely informed me that my bird had to leave. While I understand the need for sanitary measures, her attitude was unnecessarily harsh.

To make matters worse, she also scolded my cousin for having an open cup, even though other customers were clearly allowed to have drinks. Despite respecting her wishes and taking the bird outside, her behavior didn't improve. She looked out the window, rolling her eyes and sighing dramatically. Such disrespect is inexcusable. Is she jealous of our success?

I sincerely hope she faces consequences for her rude behavior. Bulk Barn needs to ensure their employees treat all customers with respect, regardless of their...

Worms were found in the All-Purpose flour I bought there about a week ago... When we called the floor supervisor was SHOCKED and it was very much heard in her voice. She did not handle the phone call as a supervisor should, there was absolutely no reassuring us that she would look into it, to be completely honest, based on the shock in her voice, she did not know what to do... She did say that we could return and get a refund but, she did not take our name, or phone number, or transaction number. Writing this review not to hurt the company but to warn fellow customers! My significant other actively works in food safety and quality assurance and with a little research it sounds like these worms THRIVE in an environment such as bulk barn. The worms will migrate and live in any flour based foods including other flours...
