So very disappointed. I should have read the reviews...that's why there are reviews afterall. I share the experience with so many folks who had problems with this location. It's like Deja Vu...🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
A quick summary and then I'll dive into details below for anyone who wants to know more. Customer Service: well, unfortunately there is none. Upon entry into the location, you're ignored, left to wait several minutes before they ask what you'd like to order. If you're busy, that is okay, I totally understand that, but at least give your customer the time of day (I'll elaborate more below 👇)
Food quality: I know what a Quiznos Sub, and soup should look like and taste like...I used to go often and really enjoyed it (another location of course!) The food was over toasted, left the roof of my mouth raw as the bread was too hard and the soup, well it's different (maybe Quiznos change the recipe, so not saying this is location specific necessarily). Knowledge of menu: I order the same thing every.single.time. I order a standard menu item, and for some reason this location got it incorrect. This was not for a lack of ingredients though, as the customer after me asked for the ingredients they omitted in my sub, on the side for hers...(more below 👇)
Discrimination: A customer asked to use the washroom, was told that only the men's washroom was in service but they were welcome to use it.
Another customer came to use the washroom between 5-10 minutes after the first washroom user left the building. They were denied and told the washrooms were out of service. (More below 👇)
Cleanliness (or lack thereof): This restaurant was significantly dirty. If it wasn't for being treated poorly before ordering, the state of the restaurant should have turned me away. To be honest, I wanted to look past it all because I really wanted Quiznos and I was hungry. Two staff visible and no one took a moment to even care about the front of the house.
I'm sorry, but if there are repeat concerns brought forth by many reviewers, and those concerns aren't being remedied asap (especially the health concerns), then we have a problem. I hope all of you folks took a moment to write to head office as well. There's got to be someone holding this location accountable.
I detest providing a bad review but it's necessary. So many areas require major improvement. I do not understand how they are still open, honestly...
More explained: When a customer comes in, it's nice to say "hi" if you have the opportunity OR if they are waiting to place an order, and you as the employee are busy, it is kind to say "I'll be with you in a moment" or "Hi there, give me a second and I'll be right with you". I don't have to educate you on this, Quiznos is an international chain and they have their policies and procedures, implement them and use them, please.
The sandwiches were over toasted. They need to turn their oven temperature down or adjust the speed of the conveyor or something. I'm not sure but those were some of the darkest, over toasted, crispy subs I've ever seen. The broccoli cheddar soup is totally different than before. It is definitely thinner than before (not sure if this is the location altering the recipe or Quiznos changed their base), and the cheese seems different. If head office changed the recipe, I urge you to change it back to how it was previously...
When a customer orders a sub off of your menu, unless you are told to omit something due to preference or you inform the customer of a change, you shouldn't be changing the recipes. If you don't know what comes standard on a sub, as an employee, you can always look at the menu. As customers, we come expecting a flavour we are familiar with. Don't assume it's my first time at Quiznos.
This one absolutely disgusted me and I felt like calling the employees out right on the spot. I did however remain silent and took notes. I felt so terrible for the person they refused the washroom to. I can't type anymore... character limit reached....

Sign outside saying $6.99 combo ( 6 inch and a drink), we got 2 combos and a large soup and were overcharged. My husband and I showed her how we calculated the total we should have been charged but all she kept saying was " that's not how we do it". Simran ( the young girl working there who rolled her eyes at me when I told her I was being over charged!) finally called her manager to refund us the overcharged amount......then I noticed the soup she has given us is a cup and not the bowl we ordered, but she says that's what she charged us for ( the cup size)...when I did the calculations again, in front of her, with the price of the BOWL of soup, she says "I don't know how you do it, but that's not how we do it". So I was also getting a smaller size and being overcharged! We will never be back to this location and will tell everyone we know not to come here either. The way she treated us was not acceptable nor kind.
Response to the owners comment; Yes, there was definitely a mistake while ringing in our transaction, that is what we were trying to tell your employee who thought it was a accepable to roll her eyes at us when we first mentioned the over charge. I was NOT upgraded to a bigger sized soup....the BOWL of soup was in the price we showed your employee we should be charged at the very beginning. We were still over charged WITH the bowl of soup price included . Also, if this is a special you offer every weekend, why not have a button on the cash register for this? Read moreI ordered a Turkey & CHEESE sandwich online, when it arrived there was NO cheese on it. I put in an online complaint just to inform them of the mistake so this doesn't happen to the next person. I got a response from who i would assume to be a manager/owner initials S.K. He told me that the cheese was IN FACT on my sandwich, and that it just melted into the mayonnaise that was on my sandwich, as that is what usually happens. Well usually this sandwich doesn't come with Mayo, i added it as an extra. Almost seems like he didn't care and didn't plan to bring it up to his employees to be more diligent and pay attention to what was ordered. Looks like he just wanted to make an excuse.
