Tonight I decided I would go to the Burger King near my home since I hadn't been there in a while and was craving the Angry King burger, and was also with my boyfriend who had never eaten a burger from BK. So we get there all excited to order at around 10:30 pm only to walk in to a store of girls behind the back counter who didn't actually acknowledge our presence until we stepped closer to order. Only then did they inform us that they had "only 1 beef patty available" in the WHOLE RESTAURANT. I literally could not believe what I was hearing. All 3 of them were smiling like it was a joke and they also told us that their "broiler" was ALSO broken. They had no empathy at all and were very dismissive about us even being there, offering us "just chicken and fries IF we wanted". The 1 girl was primped up and dressed differently as if she had a higher position, maybe a manager. But she did not act like it and seemed to not care about the restaurant being out of it's main meat which we found to be complete LIES. There is absolutely no possible way for a restaurant chain as big as BK to overlook something so important as what I was being told. I work in the restaurant industry and let me tell you; I would never allow my restaurant to fail so terribly to its customers as what I experienced tonight. Myself and my boyfriend are extremely disgusted with the service and the way we were treated. Whoever owns this particular restaurant needs to hire better employees and learn to stock there merchandise, which in this case is their "burger patties". Seriously am...
Read moreWent to this location a little over a month ago. The boyfriend specifically ordered 2 beef burger meals, as well as 1 veggie burger meal. The receipt confirmed this. To my dismay, when I opened my veggie burger (I have trust issues with carnivore food places), the burger was clearly beef.
Us vegetarians can tell the difference between veggie, and beef burgers - we are not ill educated or informed on the matter of texture, smell and appearance of our veggie burgers.
As a worker, how could you possibly confuse the difference between a beef and veggie burger? It is your business to be able to tell between the two better than anyone else on the planet. The only conclusion I can draw, is that careless people with poor training are working behind the counter, or worse, poor direction from management. Also, there is the possibility of malicious intent due to hate towards vegetarians - but this conclusion may be a reach.
Because of this inconvenience, I had to try to preserve the beef burgers (my boyfriend ordered the beef for himself), by keeping them warm in the oven - whilst he ran out (yet again) to get me a proper veggie burger. I immediately called this location to make a formal complaint about our experience, and all the shift manager could muster was "Ma'am, I'm sorry."
In the end, my boyfriend ended up feeling gross after eating his oven burgers, and I can assure you, the french fries were also absolute trash. We will not return, as there are plenty of other burger joints around that are willing to provide you with exactly...
Read more#doordash #burgerking I ordered thru the BK app Country hills location. For an order later today at 3pm. For some reason I received an email notification that the order was placed and will be delivered on or before 12:08 noon, but I am still in the middle of ordering. I immediately called the store because I still have 44mins as per email before items will be delivered. The lady there said the driver is already in the store and she cannot do anything. I told her to let the driver know that I am cancelling the order which she replied " You will still be charged even if you cancel it". So I told her how come? She said she cannot do anything. Which is stupid. I have no food and still pay $$$. Is this the reality now? My BK app is now frozen with my orders showing in the cart. I called the door dash and the same thing they cannot do anything. I am left with no food and was charged with $$$ and now I have to call the credit company to dispute the charge and...
