OPA! of Greece Country Hills Town Centre — Restaurant in Calgary

What a joke. I showed up at 9:45 PM, a full 15 minutes before closing, and was told they were “already closed” because the grill was shut down and cleaned. Their posted hours say they close at 10, so why on earth are you turning customers away early? If you’re going to stop serving food before closing time, change your hours or lock the door. Leaving it open just to tell people “sorry, too late” is lazy and misleading. Terrible customer service and zero respect for customers’ time. I’ll never be back to this location.

Ordered takeout for dinner. Got the donair gyro wrap combo & calamari w/Caesar salad. Donair gyro wrap is recommended, veggie toppings very generous. Not a fan of their tzatziki, I find it on the vinaigrette-style side. I do understand, that to each their own way of making & presenting. I am just used to the tzatziki , white garlicky thick w/cucumber coolness type ones. Fries could be a bit crispier, ones I got was soggy, expecting crunchiness from exterior & starchy+tasty on the inside. Calamari, fried cooked well, tender & just right amount in relation to the Caesar salad. You’re not chewing forever to enjoy calamari, really great. Salad nothing too special, could use extra sauce. We arrived at 9:45 and website says its open at 10am. My daughter really wanted it so we waited. We entered the store at 10:02am and the lady staff just straight up said we’re still closed - in a rude way. Mind you, we live close so we come here a few times and ALWAYS this lady is not pleasant. Answers and takes order in a rude tone.

I told her the website says the store is open at 10am. She insisted and asked which door I entered from. Clearly there was only ONE door. Clearly it was open, how else were we able to enter?!?
