I went here with friends a few days ago, and it was a alright experience. I got the brown sugar milk tea, and my friends got the taro slush, and one of their mango drinks.
My drink was okay, not the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. It was closer to lukewarm than cold, and the brown sugar syrup took up a lot of the drink, and it felt like I was just drinking sugar syrup. The taro slush was very creamy, half melted, and far to sweet for my friend (who orders taro at every bubble tea place)
The mango drink was the best one by far, it was fruity, not too sweet, and the little mango chunks it in were good! I would definitely recommend getting a fruitier drink if you go!
The atmosphere was good, they had k-pop and Taylor Swift playing the whole time, so that was nice! The service was okay, but the lady working there was very curt, and seemed...

It also doesn't look like the photo. I wasn't sure if I needed to eat it with a spoon that was given, or to ask for a straw. I was just fishing around for the ice cream that was bobbing around in the liquid. The mochi balls were tough. Lastly, I requested it to be cold, and it was room temperature... I could not finish my drink.
My friend ordered a taro milk tea and it was artificial taro. He was expecting fresh taro for the price. It was too sweet for him despite that he requested 30% sugar. We were both gagging in the end. I'm not sure how they have so many good ratings. Maybe from the high school student across the street with low expectations... ?
Will not...

And this led me to finally go in with my boys. Very clean space with a lot of random decorative items. The phone booth corner is cute. Nice sitting area. My boys had boba tea and Taro boba slush . I was interested trying their dessert bowl. Double Taro Bowl is what I tried. It looked very cool and colourful. The portion was big. I really loved it but wished they had options to add extra sweeteners as a choice. I don’t like things too Sweet but this was almost no sweet to mild. Yet, I enjoyed tye fresh mango and it’s natural sweetness. I say give these dessert bowls a try even for the sake of trying something new! They also serve some snacks such as gyoza, wonton soup...
