Visited today for the first time with my daughter and so glad we tried this cafe out! The inside is super cute and chic with the choice of eating on the upper level floor as well as the lower level. Tons of drink options (coffee, tea, matcha, sparking soda, etc) and food options as well! We ordered the green smoothie and the chocolate maca smoothie (SO GOOD! Highly recommend), and then got the bulgolgi wrap - which was the best cold wrap we have ever had! We also tried the prosciutto and goat cheese flat bread - absolutely delicious. My daughter got the bagel with cream cheese and she loved it, she had also ordered a croissant but it ended up getting burnt while in the oven and the worker apologized and refunded us. Then the owner or manager came over to apologize again and gave my daughter a free donut for what had happened - the donut was a mochi (gluten free) donut and my daughter said it was one of the best donuts she had ever had. That was a really unexpected and generous thing for them to do, great customer service.
Overall the food and drinks were excellent, environment was quiet and enjoyable, and the cafe was clean and maintained.
I would also like to add in that when we walked in at first it was really busy with what looked to be retirement home residents who came by bus for a day out - it was really nice to witness the staff accommodate the extra space they needed for their walkers and wheelchairs for them to eat inside comfortably and not be forced to go outside on their patio as it was a little bit of a chilly wind. Super kind, warm hearted and courteous staff!
Definitely will be frequenting this cafe more often and would highly recommend others to...
Read moreIf you're looking for a place that offers not only a fantastic cup of coffee but also a true sense of community, look no further than Fenyk. The owner, Pardeep, is not only dedicated to his craft but has a heart of gold. During a recent crisis, he didn’t just offer words of comfort—he took real action, running into a burning building to save my family of seven without a second thought.
When we needed somewhere to stay, Pardeep opened the doors to his own beautiful home, making sure we had a safe place to recover and find peace. In addition to this, he even lent us his car to ensure we had reliable transportation.
Pardeep’s incredible acts of generosity and courage show the kind of person who runs Fenyk. His kindness radiates throughout the coffee shop, creating an atmosphere where customers feel cared for and valued. With each cup, you’re not just getting coffee; you’re experiencing a place that feels like home because of the incredible person who runs it.
If you're in town, Fenyk is an absolute must-visit, not just for the great coffee but for the chance to meet someone as...
Read moreI recently visited this café for the first time, and while the space itself is absolutely amazing—cozy, inviting, and perfect for getting some work done or hanging out with friends—I did have a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she had long, straight brown hair, styled half-up, half-down, and was the one who rang me up. She was not friendly at all, which was surprising given the great atmosphere of the café. To make matters worse, I was the only customer in line, and instead of helping me, she continued chatting with a friend or possibly another customer, ignoring the fact that I was waiting to place my order. It just didn’t seem very professional.
That being said, I decided to give the café another try, and I’m glad I did. All of the other employees I’ve encountered since have been fantastic—greeting me when I come in and leave, maintaining high standards, and the coffee itself is consistently delicious. It seems like it was just one bad experience with one employee, but I think the café overall is...
