Visited today for the first time with my daughter and so glad we tried this cafe out! The inside is super cute and chic with the choice of eating on the upper level floor as well as the lower level. Tons of drink options (coffee, tea, matcha, sparking soda, etc) and food options as well! We ordered the green smoothie and the chocolate maca smoothie (SO GOOD! Highly recommend), and then got the bulgolgi wrap - which was the best cold wrap we have ever had! We also tried the prosciutto and goat cheese flat bread - absolutely delicious. My daughter got the bagel with cream cheese and she loved it, she had also ordered a croissant but it ended up getting burnt while in the oven and the worker apologized and refunded us. Then the owner or manager came over to apologize again and gave my daughter a free donut for what had happened - the donut was a mochi (gluten free) donut and my daughter said it was one of the best donuts she had ever had. That was a really unexpected and generous thing for them to do, great customer service.

Overall the food and drinks were excellent, environment was quiet and enjoyable, and the cafe was clean and maintained.

I would also like to add in that when we walked in at first it was really busy with what looked to be retirement home residents who came by bus for a day out - it was really nice to witness the staff accommodate the extra space they needed for their walkers and wheelchairs for them to eat inside comfortably and not be forced to go outside on their patio as it was a little bit of a chilly wind. Super kind, warm hearted and courteous staff!

Definitely will be frequenting this cafe more often and would highly recommend others to...

If you're looking for a place that offers not only a fantastic cup of coffee but also a true sense of community, look no further than Fenyk. The owner, Pardeep, is not only dedicated to his craft but has a heart of gold. During a recent crisis, he didn’t just offer words of comfort—he took real action, running into a burning building to save my family of seven without a second thought.

When we needed somewhere to stay, Pardeep opened the doors to his own beautiful home, making sure we had a safe place to recover and find peace. In addition to this, he even lent us his car to ensure we had reliable transportation.

Pardeep’s incredible acts of generosity and courage show the kind of person who runs Fenyk. His kindness radiates throughout the coffee shop, creating an atmosphere where customers feel cared for and valued. With each cup, you’re not just getting coffee; you’re experiencing a place that feels like home because of the incredible person who runs it.

If you're in town, Fenyk is an absolute must-visit, not just for the great coffee but for the chance to meet someone as...

I recently visited this café for the first time, and while the space itself is absolutely amazing—cozy, inviting, and perfect for getting some work done or hanging out with friends—I did have a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she had long, straight brown hair, styled half-up, half-down, and was the one who rang me up. She was not friendly at all, which was surprising given the great atmosphere of the café. To make matters worse, I was the only customer in line, and instead of helping me, she continued chatting with a friend or possibly another customer, ignoring the fact that I was waiting to place my order. It just didn’t seem very professional.

That being said, I decided to give the café another try, and I’m glad I did. All of the other employees I’ve encountered since have been fantastic—greeting me when I come in and leave, maintaining high standards, and the coffee itself is consistently delicious. It seems like it was just one bad experience with one employee, but I think the café overall is...

I popped into this coffee shop when I had some time to burn in the area. Although I'm familiar with Northland, having grown up there, I was surprised to come across this new spot amidst all the changes. I ordered a nitro cold brew and a croissant, and I was extremely impressed. My partner got a donut, which was amazing—soft with a great texture, and somehow gluten-free too! The nitro cold brew coffee was a real highlight. Having just returned from a trip to Austin, where nitro cold brew was a big trend, it was nice to see it here in Calgary as well. It was super smooth and refreshing. The croissant was definitely the highlight for me. It was super large, flaky, and served warm—it was incredible. I really love this spot. It has a nice, approachable setting and friendly staff and a way better value proposition than any other coffee shop I have been to. I will definitely be back. A total gem.

Tried an Americano which was very tasty with floral notes and a mellow smooth flavour. Had it with oat milk. Service was very good as I asked about dairy free items so they suggested a dairy free gluten free steak and mushroom pie. I can have butter but not cheese, sour cream etc. Flavor was somewhat bland but it had a decent amount of steak and mushroom with potatoes. There was no gravy inside so it was quite dry especially with the pastry. Will return for more drinks as so wanted to try the nitro cold brew on the website menu but they didn’t have it today. The patio is cute and there’s some parking here. Maybe next time I’ll try a pastry or a sandwich as the pie didn’t ignite my taste buds.

Very cute coffee shop! Not much parking nearby. Also not much seating on the main floor, apparently they have a second level but I didn't check it out. Their mochi donuts are such cool flavours and some are seasonal. I tried the candy cane white chocolate-- the peppermint candy cane was a good touch. By evening the donuts aren't as fresh anymore but they're still tasty and they still have the classic chewy mochi texture, just a bit harder on the outside. I got a hot chocolate and it was very rich and creamy. Lots of milk alternative options. Their straws are disposable little sticks of bamboo! Very unique! Way better than paper straws!
