Nice to see one of the few architectural relic Dairy Queen locations has been for the most part tasefully restored, and still kept most of the original appearance of the exterior, rather than the hipster style, boxy modern stucco and plastic sheathing panel update many other locations have suffered as a result of a "renovation".
This location suffered a devastating grease fire in 1984 , and was closed for nearly a year. So , technically I guess this location has had two successful renovations that didn't destroy it's original character, & charm. It amazingly still looks pretty much the same as it did 55 years ago when it was a new building!
This location has changed owners and management countless times over the last few decades, I even worked here for a year in 1990, the food is usually fairly good, although my last visit the fries and onion rings were in need of more ...

Since the order was placed on the app by credit card, they couldn't figure out how to credit the card back. I said cash refund would work, but they short changed the amount back. The onion rings were crunchy and burnt inside, likely because they were cooked once already and the dropped in the fryer again to heat them back up. The whole ordeal took almost 15 minutes even though I pre-ordered. I left without a burger and had to get my son his burger meal at another location. Unacceptable. ...

Somehow they always cant find the note, and the very last time I was met with extreme attitude. Was told there is no manager that day, but couldnt at least call the manager to figure whats going on. Tried calling the next day, again no manager. I get they need to verify, but ive worked customer service jobs to know enough how to handle a situation. When I explained what went wrong (the icecream wasnt blended and the toppings were all at the top), I was told that could never happen. That is not how to deal with customers. Just avoid this location all together. You end up waiting for 10 plus minutes for two ice creams (longer if its food), just for them to get it wrong or basically insinuate...
