Far East Foods — Restaurant in Calgary

I was scammed. I order combo 11 off Uber eats. Instead I got a bucket full of ginger beef. They misunderstood the order and sent me the wrong item.

So I called and offered to bring the food back uneaten (in a 1 hour drive) and they agree only if the food is brought back.

I drove an hour, politely handed them the food and they offered to fix the problem with a replacement meal.

After a 1 hour wait for Uber eats, driving to this location for another hour, I was no longer hungry, just tired.

I asked for a refund. Just $11. They refused saying take it up with Uber Eats. I had and they said to take it up with the restaurant. The restaurant packaged and sent the wrong order.

The lady still refused saying “Look Uber hasn’t even paid us yet,” which doesn’t mean anything because they will have on 12 hours time.

I was lied to, told to drive to the restaurant with the order, and my problem would get resolved.

It hadn’t.

They did not refund me, neither did Uber, and they kept the ginger beef.

Son loves their Chinese food. They carry pretty much everything you can think of, and what really sets this place apart is how amazingly FAST they are in preparing it.

So one night we look and it's 10:45pm, 15 minutes before they close, and we give them a quick call for pickup. Not really expecting them to answer, they answer and we order some Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Fried Rice, and Salt and Pepper Dry Ribs which they say will literally be ready in ten minutes.

So we hope in the car and get there in ten minutes (since we live in Dover), and it's all ready when we pull up. Super hot food, made to order and quick. That says something when sometimes I'm in a McDonald's drive thru and it takes me longer than it does ordering and picking it up. Use to be good food then it got sold and food went really bad so we stop ordering from there the we decided to give it another chance food was just as bad and are order was not all there been about 8 months now so we're like let's give it a try again what a big mistake that was food took to long was cold and again not every thing we ordered was there called them and all we got was them telling us the she pack are food and she put everything in the bag after fighting with her she tell me that she will send out what was not there on the next trip been 2 hours now and still don't have all the food we wanted
