JusFruit Southview — Restaurant in Calgary

I don't usually write bad reviews but this was so disappointing. I have tried MANY Jus Fruit franchises and have always been happy with the quality of ingredients used. I ordered summer berry with coconut milk for my daughter and I, and as I was waiting, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed her starting to mix some kind of powder to make the milk... maybe it was powdered milk? I didn't say anything, because I thought maybe it was a coconut powder... then I see her take fruit SYRUP (the chemical garbage they use on snow cones) and dump it in the mixture, and actually spoons of sugar with literally a teaspoon of blueberries. I was DISGUSTED. My daughter knew instantly and asked me not to make a scene, so I didn't. But I ended up throwing mine in the garbage after because I eat very clean so I didn't want to get sick from whatever they put in there. My daughter drank hers and was very sick to the stomach the next morning and that's when I realized they probably used powder milk because she is lactose intolerant, or they just used the cheapest of cheap flavor syrup. She said it tasted ok except the pearls were not the quality she was used to. Worse thing is, I paid over $20 for 2 drinks when I could have gotten her a slurpee for $1.50 at 7-11 with the same nutritional value. 0 . That is what these drinks should have cost and they should not be advertising "made with real fruit" when it's mostly syrup. Don't...

Decent Bubble Tea, worst service I have had in a long time. I have been here before and got better service. One lady working, came in just before another couple, we all stood there and watched the lady in the back cook something in the fryer. No worries must be for another customer, nope restaurant is empty except for the people who just walked in and I. We wait and she says nothing to acknowledged us or anything, then I would say 10 solid minutes, probably more but I didn't time it so i can't say exactly but felt like an eternity. Took their order and I stood behind them. Then continued to make their order and then make two more Bubble teas and put them in the fridge and after cleaning out a few blenders took my order.

They definitely go the extra mile in making a fancy bubble tea, garnish on top. But this really slows down how fast they can get to you. But just learn some decent customer service and take everyone's order whos waiting in line so I can at least sit down instead of watching you do everything wondering if you even know I exist.

Oh and they were out of pearls, so didn't even get the bubbles.... Sad.

First I have to say, we go here a lot. My daughter loves the drinks and we live close by. There is one employee there that continually ruins the experience for us. She is rude and disinterested when she takes our order. She has made completely different drinks than what we order and then argues with us when we ask to have it replaced. She takes her time making the drink and makes us wait while she makes drinks for others who came in after us. The drinks she makes never look like the picture. She doesn't bring out the drink or call you to come grab it, instead she slides it out through the front till, in front of other people, and meekly says "There you go" and walks away. Anytime we go here, if she's working, this bad experience is guaranteed. We took a trip down to Kensington and although very busy, was a far more enjoyable experience. The drinks even tasted better. It's too bad at the Southview one, as it's clear the other employee that gets stuck working with her is clearly trying. All in all I would say once you've experienced her, you will want to drive the 15 mins to the Kensington location and wait in...
