Decided to visit after seeing their specials listed . We sat in the drivers lounge it’s very comfortable and quiet . Our server was not very friendly and never even greeted us with a simple hello. She seemed very hasty even though she had 2 other tables . It was quiet . My husband ordered the Benedict omelette with shredded hash brown and asked if he could have his toast asap as he’s diabetic and needed to eat . I ordered the tomato soup and grill chese ff and gravy . The toast never came out after 10 minutes we inquired and waited another 10 minutes. We over heard her telling the cook she wanted it first but it still took 20 minutes and it came out cold. The meals arrived 15 minutes after the toast so it took 35 minutes . The omelette was Luke warm and the hollandaise sauce had settled on it like jelly the hasbrowns were very greasy . The grill chese was average and it came with a big load of fries but that gravy is disgusting literally .Tasted like beef cubes and it had a thick skin on it yuck. Our waitress ran out the door literally and left us with a wonderful gentleman who was attentive and very professional. We never ate our food it was such a turn off we asked for containers and gave it to a homeless guy. Your waitress should be friendly and not act as though her job is an inconvenience. The gentleman who took over was wonderful. The grease on the plate from the omelette was unbelievable so that I took a picture . We...

I was pleasantly surprised about this dining experience. I haven't even considered eating at the Husky restaurant due to deteriorating reputation over the last couple decades.

A friend of mine invited me telling me this place has really picked up lately and the food is great. So I met him there, ordered the hamburger steak and he ordered the steak sandwich. Both entrees were well received and mine was very tasty and filling.

The only issue I had was the extreme price. $20 for a hamburger steak and coffee. Heavy inflation? Or jacked up prices just because the people are expecting this? Not sure which it is.

Nevertheless, the restaurant was full to capacity which speaks volumes to it's quality. The building is far from appealing from the outside, but the treasure lies within.

I will return to try the steak...

We went for supper on January 25 2020 at 530pm I ordered a chicken quesadilla with turkey rice soup my friend had a BLT with turkey rice soup. My soup was great as for the quesadilla it was burnt. There was black grill Mark's and the cheese was brown yuck . I told the waitress I wasnt eating it she took it back and had a fresh one made. While I waited for the new one the waitress came from the back with the burnt quesidillia that I had touched and poked at and took it to the gas side clerk and she ate. I did get my quesidill8a replacement and not burnt but I was disgusted to know that they gave the burnt touched poked at to someone else to eat. I will rethink about ever eating there again. Thanks to the waitress the service made up for an...

Me and my wife secrete place for Breakfast and Dinner! It is usually not very busy and the prices are very affordable. It's very under rated and only the regulars know what special value this place gives. The food is the same as your fancy breakfast dinner or franchise chains but without the wait and higher prices. The decor is charming like you are stepping back in the 80's and 90's. There is also another Husky House on the way to Canmore and Banff we also go to.
