I don’t normally write reviews but this experience was unacceptable on every level.
I came in around 9:20 PM, fully aware it was close to closing, I was not greeted at all, instead the lady ran to the back until I said “hello.” I respectfully asked for a shrimp burrito but also understanding that shrimp burritos take time to make. Without even looking up or checking, the staff member snapped, “We don’t have it.” I asked her to please double-check, and even before going to the back to check she said no we don’t have it, I asked for the third time to atleast just check and only then did she actually look and surprise, they did have it.
She then told me she will only make it into a shrimp bowl and thats all she’ll do for us. I said no, I would like a burrito, and again she sighed and said it would take 10 minutes. That would’ve been fine, had she actually cared about doing her job. Instead, she rushed every single step of the process, like I was an inconvenience.
Before even getting the bread out, she was asking me what rice, beans, and sauces I wanted completely out of order and clearly trying to rush us out the door. No eye contact. No courtesy. And here’s the most disturbing part: She wasn’t wearing gloves. When I asked for extra veggies, she grabbed them with her bare hands and tossed them into the burrito. That’s not just unprofessional that’s a literal food safety violation.
To top it off, she overcharged us by $2 without explanation. When we asked why, she said “That’s just the price,” and walked off. I eventually just said it’s fine. I was too frustrated to argue. I just wanted to eat and leave.
We told her we planned to dine in and were told “dine-in is closed.” Fine. But ten minutes before closing, she allowed her own family (two girls who walked inside, whom she kept talking to in another language we understood) to stay and eat inside, while we were forced to sit outside in the parking lot.
It got worse: she brought in more of her family older men, older women, and a child and let them all dine in while we were left outside. I don’t care what excuse she could come up with — it was blatant favoritism and completely unprofessional.
When we got home, we opened the burrito and found: • Burnt tortilla • A literal shrimp tail inside — like she just threw things in without care or cleanliness.
This wasn’t just bad service, it was lazy, rude, unsanitary, and disrespectful. That staff member clearly didn’t want to be there, didn’t want to work, and treated us like we were a problem for showing up.
This was the worst Mucho Burrito experience I’ve ever had. We will never be returning to this location again and if this is how the staff treats customers, especially near closing, I truly hope management takes this seriously. I don’t know her name but she had glasses and maybe management can check the cameras and see her entire family dinning in after 10pm having a whole feast inside on August 1st 2025.
This is not how a paying customer should be treated. And honestly if you’re so fed up of your job, maybe you should...
Read moreUpdate: looking back at previous one star reviews of this restaurant, they all have the exact same complaint as what happened in my review. The same situation goes back at least two years. The business responses to those complaints asking people to privately communicate with them via email are clearly empty promises that they are willing to improve their terrible business practice. The best choice is to not give them your business in store or via delivery.
I ordered from this restaurant on Skip the dishes last night, and the more I'm thinking about it the more upset it's making me. Basically they sent me a mucho burrito filled with nothing but rice. The first odd thing I noticed with the order was the guacamole on the side. There were a few black beans in it, though the order was for pinto, and when I say a few I mean that I literally saw about five beans total. It was a veggie burrito, with no veggie mix at all. I always order the same thing from Mucho, and also noticed in the first bite a lime flavored taste. I'm realizing now that's one of the other sauces they have available. My order was for sour creme and there was none at all. The way the whole thing was built, it feels like maybe another burrito was made and cancelled, and then they used the filing from that in my order. I have no proof of that, but it sure feels that way thinking back about it now. Either way, it's a massive breach of trust. I've eaten at this restaurant before and always found it clean with good service, but this is just a big deal breaker for me. I'd highly recommend never ordering from this restaurant on Skip. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with...
Read moreI went there at 9.10 still good 50 mintues from closing. I ordered 2 bowls one chicken and one beef. First of all she literally gave me 2 pieces of veggies in both bowls and I’m not Exaggerating there were just 2 pieces of veggies in each. Second she said she didn’t had any Quinoa but it was right there in her dish. I thought it was closer to close time. So that’s fine. She probably doesn’t want to do dishes no more. The chicken was over cooked. Beef was almost burnt. And then I ordered one extra topping because she had no quinoa and she also gave me two pieces of veggies. she charged me for one extra topping despite all the things she didn’t had. I asked her since you are missing lot of toppings can you give me extra veggies, Which she did. and then she proceeded to charge me for it. Saying that’s what the owner has told her and as well the mucho burrito policy. I have been to several muchos this is first one that has charged me for extra veggies. I mean the audacity. Lady you can be little nicer than that it’s your closing time I get it. But please either have the bare minimum things you required. Or at least don’t over charge people because you don’t even have basic toppings...
