The pizza was stale, when we called to complain, they said "Thanks for letting us know". Both my partner and I had food poisonings.
Following Up: Thank you for your response. I want to clarify a few points to avoid any misunderstanding.
First, regarding the food poisoning: you are correct that we did not mention it in our initial complaint because the symptoms began later that night, in the early hours of the morning. However, this does not mean the review was misleading, as the situation evolved after we had contacted the restaurant.
Second, while you mentioned a request for proof (such as photos), I can assure you that no such request was made when we initially reached out. We were simply met with a response that didn’t address our concerns, which made us feel brushed off. Our goal was never to immediately leave a negative review, but after the sickness we experienced, we decided it was important for others to be informed about our experience.
Finally, I understand your commitment to defending your reputation, and I appreciate your acknowledgment of the need for honest communication. It is unfortunate that it took a negative review to get the conversation started, but I welcome the dialogue now. However, I do feel that suggesting my review was malicious or intentionally misleading reflects poorly on the service you provide. We only wanted our experience to be heard and to ensure that any potential issues are taken seriously.
I hope this clears up any confusion and that this feedback can be used constructively...
Read moreOgden Pizza used to be a really decent place to go, it's close, food was good, prices were reasonable. But they ran into some serious staffing issues in the last year or so and at the same time raised their prices. I don't know what really happened but me and my son seemed to have lost our "regulars" status in a matter of a few months because the staff keeps changing when ever we go in. We went from knowing all staff and having great friendly personable service to staff losing orders, not knowing what's going on and checking their cell phones more then keeping an eye on the dining floor. Another complaint is they added more menu items to their menu but failed to reflect that on their actual menu. Instead they went the "write it on a peice of poster paper and tape it by the side door" route. We never think to look at the door while ordering food! Sadly I think our last experience will be our last one there. especially when Partners and Lynnwood Station are so close to it anyways. It just nose dived so much. ...
Read moreWe were the only people eating in the restaurant. We Ordered the Large ‘House’ pizza. It took over 30 mins for our pizza to come. When it arrived it smelled burnt! We looked at the bottom and the crust was black. Waved the waitress over and showed her the pizza and said it was burnt! She asked if we wanted a new pizza! We said yes! About 25 mins later we got a new pizza. The top was barely cooked and the shrimp on it were not deveined! The pizza was edible but not very good. The waitress did not come over to ask how everything was and did not refill our waters. When we were done eating the waitress was no where to be seen. I had to go to the counter and look for her. She was busy visiting with the staff. I had to ask for a container and the bill! Ogden pizza used to be so good but it has gone downhill! This is the third time we have been there recently and the pizza was underwhelming! We will never go there again! Too bad as I said the pizza used to...
