So glad Palermo's is gone. Had the worst food there and never went back. I ordered from the NEW restaurant, Rock's Pizza & Sizzling Grill and really enjoyed it! Pictured is the following (hopefully in correct order): Lacha prantha, aloo kulcha, chicken sweet corn soup, steamed veg momos, jeera rice, chicken seekh kabab, and goat palak with a bright green sauce and a red sauce. The lacha prantha was delish, flaky and layered, and I liked tearing pieces off to scoop my rice and goat palak. The goat palak had nice deep flavor with tender chucks of meat and was not spicy (imo), but I was told it was medium spice. I used the red sauce for the steamed veg momo's, although they were delicious on their own. The red sauce was the spiciest of everything I ordered, but tasty. I'm not sure if it was the momo sauce that was supposed to come with them? The green sauce was light, not spicy, and I think had mint and yogurt? I used it on the kabob with the onion slices and squeeze of lemon. The kabob was a bit salty, but the other seasonings were quite good. I would order it again but will likely try some of the others first before picking favorites! The corn soup was good, simple and homemade tasting. When winter is here, that's what you want to order and curl up on the couch with. I saved my favorite for last, which is the aloo kulcha! My first piece I had was still warm, I just ate it plain. I LOVED the flavors, and despite there being chili flakes sprinkled all over the inside, I still found it quite mild. After I let my tummy settle a while, because I ate too much (hahaha), I decided I wanted one more taste of the aloo kulcha. It was cold by this time, and I'll be honest, I think I liked it better that way. So good! The menu is extensive and I Google searched EVERYTHING I ordered first, haha! The lady who took my order over the phone was so gracious and helped me correct the pronunciation of the food. It was ready in 30 min and I think traveled well in the to go containers. I live across from St. Clare, so I didn't have to drive far. Only thing I'll say is that I wouldn't likely dine in. It lacks ambiance and just didn't have that 'come in and sit down' feel. Definitely more of a pick up/ delivery spot. I 100% recommend trying it out and I will also be ordering from...
Read moreHorrendous. They bought the old (amazing) pizza place. Everything is now just absolutely horrible. This was the go to pizza place. It's inedible now. The only reason it has high ratings is clearly people who are friends and family of the new owners are piling on to bump ratings. Read through the ratings yourself and you'll see. This place used to be so good and I'm so sad they sold. Horrible pizza.
Edit: I'm not sure how to reply to the owners response other than to add an edit.
I doubt very much it had anything to do with the chef. It is clear the ingredients have changed and are simply very low quality. The pizzas were made and cooked, from what I can tell, in a similar style to the previous restaurant. It simply tasted cheaper and boring, similar to a pizza by the slice restaurant, rather than a genuine pizza place with great ingredients and dough, which is what it used to be. If you were to tell me you kept the same suppliers and same ingredients I honestly would have to assume you're lying, and would bet my paycheque on it. If you are using the same supplier, then I am at a loss for what you're doing to wreck the pizza like this, it would be impossible.

Read moreEverything was great as soon as we walked in. Monday night not a lot of foot traffic to be expected but easily say our party of 8 including a nearly 2 year old. No high chairs here but we did have a portable one to attach to the table no problem. They were very accommodating to my daughter and for me my birthday.
Pizzas were very good based on the two people that had one.
The rest of us had various dishes. Szechwan chicken was delicious with perfect spice level to what we wanted. Butter chicken was great and also perfect spice level - nice creaminess to it.
First time trying kadahi prawn. Will definitely have it again. Good spice level and different flavours to it.
Indo chicken chow mein - awesome. Made like in Indonesia - totally reminded me of the many times I had it in Bali.
Coconut rice is always a must. raj (hopefully spelling that right) the server said it’s usually 1 rice for 2 people but they have good portion sizes there compared to other Indian restaurants - 5 of us didn’t even finish 2 bowls of it with the other stuff we had.
Will definitely be making another visit here.
Good value, quiet...
