Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

We are usually a Pizza Hut family but we decided to try out Papa John’s one time. I used the app to order so it laid out all the preparation options. I got our pies done double baked and they were sooooo good. I loved it their crust was crunch but still nice on the inside. Their breadsticks were just as delicious. My hubby loves anchovy and it’s one of the rare times we were able to find it as a topping option and he loved it on his thin crust. The service he received when he went to pick up was great as well. He wasn’t even waiting long but the staff apologized for the wait. This is our new go to! The only thing that would make papa even better is if they had non dairy cheese options. PC lactose free cheese melts and tastes just like real cheese. Wish someone would pick this up and put it as on option on...

This is literally the worst experience ordering pizza I have ever had. First the order took 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. I asked the driver how long my pizza had been in his car and first he said not long, then he said 20 minutes. The pizza was luke warm at best. Then we discovered the pizza which was to have NO cheese on it had cheese so we spent time scraping cheese off pizza slices so my niece could eat some. The garlic bread sticks were over cooked and dry... slapped on a tray swimming with melted butter. The pepperoni pizza was sitting in a puddle of grease. Not a bit of grease soaked into the box... a literal puddle. The chicken pizza was the best of the lot - actually the topping was good though cold... but the base tasted stale. Can't post...

I really do not like to leave bad reviews but I feel that it is necessary to do so here. It is really frustrating to order an item for pick up, spend nearly $30 on it, and arrive home only to realize I was given the wrong item. The tag on the box indicated it was the item I ordered but the item inside the sealed box was wrong. I don't exactly live close to the store so for me to go back to get this issue rectified is really inconvenient. I chose this location because it was on my way home from work but work is still far from home. Anyway, I'm leaving this review for y'all to be more aware of what y'all are packaging for your customers...
