Papa Murphy's Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

Had a horrible experience. I ordered two large 3 topping pizzas and was told it would take 35 to 40 minutes, no problem. However, when I arrived the manager on duty told me they did not have my order. He asked me if I got an answer when I phoned to which I replied yes and showed him the call out on my phone and recited my order to him. He and his co-worker promptly found my order was placed but that they had not fulfilled my order. I told the manager that I was upset because I had at this point been waiting more than 40 minutes and had no pizza. I asked if there was something he could do to compensate me for my time with this order, for example prepare the pizza and provide a discount. His reply was "no, this is not my fault I was not the one who took your order". I found his customer service skills basically non-existent. I asked for his name so I could file a complaint with the owner but he refused to give me his name. I persisted and he finally gave me a name. Stunned that he admitted that the order was not fulfilled but that it was not his fault even though he is the manager on duty and also that he could do nothing. Had issues before but here is a new Update May 19 , 2024. Well decided to order and went through skip, got 1 out of the 3 pizzas completely wrong so instead of the veggie pizza we get plain cheese.. not sure how that gets messed up but you screwed my wife's dinner over and now you lose a star!! Come on guys..

So we have ordered a couple times now, I like to give a place the chance to open and get into the swing before I review. Surprisingly the first time was great, decided to try a second time back at the end of October and the pizzas were both undercooked and doughy, I muttled through it but my wife and friend really did not like it. I haven't been able to convince her to try again. As far as over all pizza goes, sauce is great toppings were ok, but the bake is important. Not sure if it matters but first order I picked up 2nd we had delivered.

We have tried a few of the other places that are new to our neighborhood and they are all very expensive and had positive and negatives as well. One positive for Papa Murphy's is pricing so if they do get it right it's a good value! Hopefully we can try them again and they can do it better so we can make this our regular...

We have been to papa murphy's a few times. Today we decided that we would order through delivery as we didn't want to leave the house so late at night with our baby. But we usually order in store and wait for the order to be ready. Today we ordered the Think N Cheesy bread, there was a promotion of 2 for 1. When we Recieved out order my husband noticed that the dough was very under cooked almost raw. I called the store to let them know of this and the guy was less than helpful. He asked for us to send pictures in through email, we did. And then he proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't complain about the food because I got it on promotion.I couldn't believe my ears hahaha he did offer to make us new ones, but no point because like mentioned before, it's too late at night to leave the house with the baby.
