bb.q chicken — Restaurant in Calgary

I have ordered from here several times as I work at the hospital close by. Feb 9th I placed an online order and paid online and went to pick it up and they said they never received order. I had confirmation email showing I had ordered 30 minutes prior to pick up and confirming I had paid. The lady in the restaurant still argued saying order was rejected and never placed but I had confirmation in email as well as my bank credit card acct showing I had paid. She still continued to argue. Food was not cooked properly and chicken that is usually crispy and amazing was soggy and flavorless. I asked for manager number and she gave a phone number that no one answers and has no voicemail. This is extremely disappointing as a lot of us on out unit order frequently and after the way we were treated this time will be looking elsewhere to order. NOT acceptable at all. And on top of taking no responsibility for their error still tried to charge extra 2.00...

I’m a regular customer at your restaurant, but today I had a very disappointing experience. The service I received was extremely rude and unprofessional. The lady who served me was not polite or respectful, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

In addition, I ordered chicken wings, and there were two long hairs in my food. This was very unpleasant, and I even felt sick and vomited twice after seeing that.

In the past, I have always received excellent service from one of your staff members (a white gentleman), and I really appreciated how well he took care of customers. I hope proper training will be provided to your staff—especially to those who don’t yet know how to communicate respectfully with customers.

Please take this complaint seriously and ensure that this does not happen again. I truly hope I will be treated better on my next visit, as I have always liked coming to...

Tried out BBQ Chicken today while I was out and about. First time here after seeing their many locations around the city. Fried chicken burger and fries. I opted for the secret sauce. I'd give it a 5.6/10. Not bad but not great. Chicken was good but for me, stacked too high. No need for all the extra ingredients (tomato/lettuce/cheese), they took away from the chicken. Not a huge flavour from the secret sauce. Paired it with some Gangnam style boneless chicken. 6.4/10. Juice chicken but missing some zing Imo.

Couple of burned out lights, no tv playing...seemed like they needed some ambience going on that wasn't there.

Overall decent and I will try it again at some point but my heart is with My Chicken and Meat in Braeside if I'm going for...
