Stopped by for an iced coffee at 8:50pm (ten minutes before close), to find both entrances locked. I looked through the glass, saw and waved to someone behind the counter with a clipboard. The staff person literally shooed me away. Confused, I pointed at my watch to indicate the time, and the staff person rolled her eyes and shooed me away again. Annoyed now, I walked back to my car, without realizing the staff person literally followed me. When I pulled out my phone to check their hours on Google to confirm I’m not on crazy pills, she knocked on my window scaring me half to death. I rolled down my window, thinking maybe she had like an apology drink voucher or something, but what she actually had was a bone to pick. Without any provocation, she started arguing this location actually close at 8:45pm, so I have nothing to be annoyed about. I showed her my phone, I’d just Googled it and they have their hours on the door. She didn’t acknowledge it, just repeated they actually close at 8:45pm, the staff leave at 9pm. Anyone who’s ever worked the late shift in food services knows this is just bs. We argued back and forth for nearly 10 minutes at my car before I finally shut it down, I’m not interested in being yelled at in the strip mall parking lot because I made the very entitled attempt at exchanging legal tender for goods and services during posted hours of operation. Read moreI truthfully don't go to Tim Hortons expecting any sort of customer service other than them handing me my coffee hot and fast. At this location however--you will for sure notice a star who goes out of his way for every customer. His name is Thomas, I encountered him twice today. The first instant I enquired about their types of tea. He not only accurately grouped the teas into black/ and herbal, but asked which I preffered and then listed them :). So great. I came back a few hours later and was slightly desperate for a phone charger, I ordered something from Thomas again and sat down. He had a positive tone with every customer and after seeing him interact with a few more customers I got up the nerve to ask if he by chance had an extra Iphone charger. He did (YES!!) he also directed me to the two outlets and saved me from having to find an alternative way to contact someone. I asked for Thomas' name before I left so I could write this review. Read moreI’m very disappointed with the morning service at this Tim Hortons location. The staffs yesterday on shift are consistently rude and unprofessional. They don’t acknowledge customers properly and speak in a very dismissive tone. On top of that, the service is always disorganized orders take too long, and more often than not, my breakfast sandwich is either completely wrong or missing.
But aside from that I would still giving them a 5 stars because of the two ladies yesterday as well on the evening shift were so friendly and efficient. They run out the chicken and asked if I would willing to wait to make a fresh one. Both of them served me the fresh crispy chicken. And that so good for us as a customer.
