We ordered the following Manakeesh:
Zaatar
Cheese
Meat
Sausage
Spinach
For me, the true measure of any bakeryâs quality is their Zaatar Manakeeshâand this one was an absolute standout. The dough was soft with beautifully crispy edges, and the zaatar blend with olive oil was perfectly balanced. One bite and it instantly transported me back to my hometownâcomforting, nostalgic, and full of flavour. A solid five-star start.
Next, we tried the Cheese Manakeesh. It was generously filled with soft, melty cheese, and the dough maintained its moist, airy textureâsimple yet satisfying.
The Spinach Manakeesh truly impressed us. It was so good, we instantly wished we had ordered more. The filling had a delicious tanginess, with the spinach and olive oil creating a rich, well-balanced flavor profile.
The Meat Manakeesh was wonderfully seasoned, with subtle hints of allspice and cinnamon that elevated the flavor. The meat was tender and juicy, soaking into the dough and adding depth to every bite.
Finally, the Sausage Manakeesh was a must-try for any meat lover. Perfectly spiced and bursting with flavor, it was the boldest and most indulgent option of the five.
Overall, our experience was excellent. This place easily ranks as the #1 Manakeesh spot in Calgary. Weâre already looking forward to coming back and trying even more...

We had an incredible iftar experience at Well Bake. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed by the owners, who were extremely friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home.
The food was absolutely delicious! Everything from the grilled meat and chicken with vegetables, flavorful rice, and cheesy filo rolls to the savory pies and fresh fish was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and authentic, just like homemade food.
The desserts were a highlight! We enjoyed basbousa bâel qishta, qatayef with Nutella and nuts, and sweet flaky pastries, all paired with a perfect cup of tea.
If youâre looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine with a cozy atmosphere and amazing hospitality, I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be...

Visited the bakery when it first opened and was served by an older kind gentleman. I ordered a meat pie and a cup of tea. Both were served warm and disgusting. It makes no sense as to why they would serve a meat pie that is warm, when taking the meat pie out of the oven you would need a particular tool to do so,since it is burning hot. The tea being served warm is ridiculous, it makes no sense. When making the tea, you are clearly able to see the tea boil and that would make it ready to serve.
The part that really bothered me the most was that the meat pie was served on a cheap Styrofoam plate. It goes to show, how determined the owners are to provide a good service to it customers.
TLDR. Terrible place, staff need to serve products...
