Pho 36 — Restaurant in Calgary

I am speaking of only Pho because that is all I ever eat because I love it so much. Pho 36 might not have the most beautiful restaurant (although their washrooms are absolutely beautiful!) but I'm strictly there for the food and of course, pho! Well you can see the 5 star rating and I don't just hand those out folks when it comes to pho. Ingredients are fresh especially the basil and bean sprouts, which is a must but the hit is of course that delicious soup. Always have the satay beef and it's spiced just right for me. The server was absolutely disrespectful although we we're nothing but respect to her. In addition, the food was freezing whilst other customers food appeared hot. We had to ask for the essential things that should be given to us without having to ask eg.sauces. When we we're given straws and forks, she placed them very aggressively in our table. The attitude that we were shown during our dine-in was completely unacceptable and should not be shown to customers. i’ve been going to pho36 for years, i’ve always loved their food. the service here is unbelievably disappointing. i’ve never been so shocked at how rude, inconsiderate and unaware employees have been in my life. my boyfriend and i went in, after not being acknowledged sat at an open table which had not been cleaned, and remained there completely ignored for 15 minutes before giving up and leaving. no “hello” or even someone to lead us to a seat. this is not the first time we have walked out on rude service at this restaurant. new management or employees could save this business as their food...
