Update Review: Sadly I cannot give this location more stars then my original 3! The people are SUPER friendly and really try to please!! I would suggest keeping your food consistent with the original location of Chinatown! The sauce here is FAR to sparce of the chicken and bulgogi fries are the same way! I am use to Chinatown having ooey gooey sauce where you could almost say it way to much....almost! And the Bulgogi seasoning is very generous in Chinatown. This loction however seems to be generous on friendly but cheaping out to save money on seasoning and sauce. The spicy gong jeong sauce seems very thin and barely any on the chicken to the point I always order a sauce on the side which i have to pay for! I also pay extra for Bulgogi fries so it would be nice to have seasoning where you KNOW its Bulgogi and arent question if they are plain fries. If I could change my route home and hit up the OG Wow Chicken when Im craving, I would. Please....please change how you sauce and season to be more consistent with the original Chinatown we all fell in love with!! Photo of my chicken today as opposed to Chinatown's chicken....even the color is better for Chinatown let alone thw amount of sauce. Previous review (3 stars) I love Wow Chicken but sadly these guys are off to a rough start and hopefully are reading their comments on here to improve. They do have a sign posted for a number for delivery and I was able to call ahead for my order. Thanks to someone else's comment, I checked my Bulgogi fries before leaving and they were plain fries!! They had no issue getting new ones and apologized a couple times but they were just going to fix the fries they had there waiting that were already just warm....sorry, I will opt for fresh fries. My chicken, looked good, although the sauce seems a bit different then the downtown location....slight, nothing major. Would hate to get a delivery and my order be wrong! As I said, hopefully they are reading these reviews and fix the issue of inattention in the kitchen, it was not busy at all so no really excuse!

It is great to have a Wow Chicken restaurant in northwest and the quality of the fried chicken here definitely did not disappoint. The batter to meat ratio was perfect and the meat was really juicy; my favourite was the shallot chicken with boneless chicken thighs, which packed so much delicious flavour. What was disappointing was the wait time, which went just over half an hour for a takeout order. I wish they had posted the phone number for the store on their website or, at the very least, warned me in advance that it would take that long because I could have done something else instead during the wait. It might have actually taken me less time to drive to the kensington location and do a pickup from that location and drive back. With that said, this restaurant just opened and I imagine it takes time to train the staff and develop a process to minimize the wait time for the customers so this might be a temporary issue with this location. The dining space is limited due to COVID 19, but it is a neat and well-designed space. I would still recommend this place but, if you are ordering a takeout from here, I would recommend calling in advance (their phone number is now available on Google Maps).

Wow. Absolutely dissapointed. This used to be my all time favourote fried chicken place. I reccomended it to everyone I knew. Never again. They downsized everything more than should be allowed while using the same prices and same menu. I got a 7pc soy garlic chicken and the pieces were all smaller than I've ever seen before. Two of the seven piece fried chicken were just chicken wings (a flat and a drum) I'm not joking. The rest honestly were not much bigger. There was the lightest hint of sauce I've ever tasted - they used to come covered in sauce. My fiance got a 5 pc chicken breast box for over 20 dollars hoping to have some leftovers. The "chicken breasts" were barely larger than the wings. (Picture below for reference - yes those are two of the breasts beside thay chicken wing bone) they were literally chicken nuggets. I think I am done with this place forever. There are other Korean fried chicken places with twice the value. Very sad and disappointed.

I ordered a meal online and went to pick it up at the scheduled time. Unfortunately their system wasn’t working as they informed me when I got there. I needed that order at that time because I was in a rush to pick up my kids from school. The girl that apologized was actually very sweet and I know it’s not her fault, but I’m disappointed in this company’s actions . Not only did they automatically put 15% tip on my take out order ( when I paid by Apple Pay, it already charged it without showing me the option to change tip amount) they couldn’t offer a refund when I asked for that instead since I needed lunch for my kids and their friends who were coming over. They never offered to deliver it to me as I couldn’t come pick it up and only said if I wait 15 min I could get my meal. I had to enlist another family member to pick it up . For the inconvenience they caused us, they didn’t even bother to put a little extra something like most places do. Instead I paid 15% gratuity for what???? This definitely left me with a bad taste in my mouth for the way they don’t seem to value...
