My son and I went to buy a large pizza. They had a special in the window that clearly stated $5.00 for the second pizza. When I asked the man at the counter, he said yes, you pay $14.99 for the first large and then $5.00 for the second one. I get my bill and he charges me $16.50. When I bring it to the attention of the manager, a woman who's English was a bit better than the guy who took the order, she says "so what do you want" with an attitude. I said, it is the principle not about the money, but you can give me a free can of pop to offset the difference. She looks at me and says with attitude, I can remove the topping and refuses the free pop. She goes on to tell me it is my fault for not keeping my eyes on the register. I called head office the when I get home to complain and customer service says, oh I apologize, we will have to talk to the manager and they also refuse to do anything. I have always bought Pizza Pizza for the past 14 years, after this experience, we will look at Domino's and some of the other pizza brands that are out there. It seems like pizza pizza lowered their standards in customer service over the years and these types of incidences occur more frequently. I'm sure other location may be better, but I will never buy pizza from that Cambridge, Hespeler...
Read moreWhen I arrived to pick up my order this afternoon the employee who served me was not wearing a mask while he took my payment.
I assumed he would at the very least put his mask up when taking my pizzas out of the oven and slicing them…Nope!
He instead decided to take a personal phone call and was practically shouting over my food while removing both pizzas from the oven and slicing them. Yuck!
I can’t imagine that he did NOT leave his spit on my food yelling the way he did. Completely disgusting. Covid or not.
When I questioned him about wearing his mask he replied that “sometimes” he wears it other times he doesn’t with a shrug. He then said he is vaccinated 3x —as if to suggest that him spitting all over my order was perfectly fine, and nothing to be concerned about.
Of course, the employee working in the back was not wearing his mask properly either.
If this is how they behave when people are there watching, what do they do when no one is looking?
Forget the tamper proof box. My concern is what happens to the food between the oven and packaging.

Read moreWhat pulled me to write this review was the gentleman working had no gloves, and collwcted a five dollar bill and change from a customer, dropped a coin on the floor, picked it up, pull all money the cash in the register, then went right back to touching ovens, equipment, and food with unwashed hands. Buying a pizza to share with my toddler, this kind of negligence and lack of sanitation is a nightmare.
I waited 40 minutes for a pizza that was estimated at 15-20 minutes.
When I got home and opened the box, the crust was dark brown and burnt. I couldn't give it to my toddler as it was hard and well done which is a choking hazard. All in all I'm super disappointed. $27 and change for a Hawaiian pizza in insane when I can get the same pizza for $18 elsewhere. Me and my husband avoid pizza pizza as we just generally don't enjoy the pizza, but in a pinch we gave it a go. Will not be returning. The gentleman was obviously flustered and understaffed, so I partially blame management....
